I'm using BL version 0.5.0.0, which I thought was the last version Noxid put out. In my version, the option is listed as "Hacking Tool". Are there some other versions where the text is listed as "Hackinator"? If so, that would explain why Noxid and everyone else called it the Hackinator.

Only v511 has it called "Hackinator". Leo40Story was the one who made it renamed to that, cuz too many people in the CSMS would get confused to why it's called "Hackinator" when Noxid named it "Hacking Tool". Not like it matters anyway because v511 is functionally the same as v500, but with more bugs.

Really wish I have the energy to finish patching the <BUY issue. I should probably make a <MIM patch for the old one Noxid did tho, since <MIM is technically in the parser, but the code for it isn't included.

EDIT: Actually, why do you even need the <MIM command? Either TSC+ xml has <VAR, and <VAR0006:XXXX serves as an alternative to <MIM anyway. Should you want to have it affect the Quote NPCs, just drop this in the hex patcher.

Yes. You need to use the <MIM command at the script its supposed to change the player's sprite to activate the custom player spritesheet

I haven't used <MIM in a while but I think if you have 3rd custom Quote sprite below the mimiga mask you'd use <MIM0002 to switch to it, as <MIM0000 should be the top/default sprite, correct me if I'm wrong by the way

Left click the map, On [Tile] Mode. Then press resize.

Can I get verified in the CSMC?

 

What exactly do you mean by "verified" in the CSMC? We don't give you a blue checkmark by your name once you've reached a certain quota of contribution to the community or something like that, you just build a reputation through your actions.

 

Tried opening Booster's Lab (v0.5.0.0) but got this message instead.
"Could not find the main class. Program will exit."

Version 0.4.5.0 runs just fine, though.

So question is, is there a way to get BL v0.5.0.0 to work?

Not sure what your problem is, but I would suggest making sure your Java is up to date. I'm running Windows 10 64-bit, and BL v0.5.0.0 seems to work fine for me.

 

If you're not able to access the text channels in the CSMC, too bad cause you have to get verified to access them. usually takes up to 24 hours.

Don't you just have to put the name of the blond robot in Cave Story and then wait until you get verified.

Ironically appropriate, actually, to name yourself spamton and then post a bunch of silly messages in the server.

 

Error Type: User Error
Problem: User joined CSMC server with two brand new accounts, spammed/excessively-pinged in the welcome channel, and then had the two accounts argue with each other.
Solution: None. Verification/Filtration works as intended.
