thx, I tried putting <ANP0301:0000:0000 for when he wakes up but didn't work then tried <CNP0301:0030:0000 and still doesnt work, if i'm doin sumthin wrong please tell me!

ps: for me he's standing too but his eyes are closed and hes snoring.

You might need to use 2 ANP commands then. Look at the original tsc and see how Pixel originally did it. When in doubt look at how it or something similar was originally done. You'r using Cave Editor right? It has tools to help you understand the TSC.

Okay I need a bit of help. I need to use ASM on entities 111 and 112 (Quoye teleporting in and out) to make them not do the actual teleporting. Basicly, I would like quote to jump on to the teleporter, stay still, then jump back down.

No. I mean how the character disapears. I know about the <TRA thing, I plan to use it a bit like how you use save points in Metroid.

Nope. I said entities 111 and 112. Those entities are Quote jumping in the teleporter and teleporting in and teleporting out. I don't want entity 111 to teleport, just stand there, and I don't want entity 112 to teleport either, just jump down.

How can I change the range of events head.tsc holds? I want it to occupy events up to #0094.

And I'm guessing that if there are two of the same event (one in head.tsc, one in a map's script),
it uses the one from head.tsc?

 

If there are events in map script below head.tsc max event, they are ignored.
At least, that was my understanding.

It actually acts like when events are misordered in a single script - random text noises and nothing useful.

 

Okay. So I tried putting in events 90-94 in head.tsc, and now it just skips 90-94 altogether.

 

Did you delete the similar ones in your map.tsc?

 

I didn't.
But I got it working anyway. Apparently it was something completely different causing the problem. Thanks guys.

EDIT3: Alright, screw all that stuff in my last edits. I tried to apply that weaponxp_output stuff you sent me, noxid (the stuff that reduces weapon xp) and it didn't work at all. Is there something special I need to do to the weapon in question? I'm pretty sure I didn't mistype anything.
Although it did say something about an invalid command...

If it's a minor boss, use CaveEditor > NPC Table Editor... and change the health of that NPC boss.

If it's a major boss, use ASM or a hex editor.
