I need help putting in ORGs for my hack. I followed these directions:

1. Open your game *.exe using Resource hacker
2. Expand the folder labeled "ORG"
3. Expand the folder labeled with the name of the song you wish to replace (most of the song names are obvious, but some aren't, for example, ANZEN=Safety, BALLOS=Seal Chamber, CURLY=Cave Story, GINSUKE=Balrog's Theme, GRAND=Geothermal, IRONH=Oppression, KODOU=Pulse, LASTBT3=Charge, MURA=Mimiga Village, REQUIEM=Hero's End, VIVI=Gestation, WANPAK2=Scorching Back, WANPAKU=Mischievous Robot)
4. Click on the text "1041" with the gear next to it.
5. Right click on the text and select "Replace Resource"
6. Click "Open file with new resource"
7. Select the new *.org file you wish to add.
8. Enter "ORG" into resource type, enter the resource name exactly as it appears in the list, and leave resource language blank.
9. Click replace
10. File --> Save/Save As


But I still can't figure out what "exactly as it appears on the list" is. What list? Which list? I think it may be either the file name or the song name but I still can't do it.

That refers to the resource name (GRAND, WANPAKU, ANZEN, etc.)

When I do that, it tells me it is not a valid Win32 application. Do I need to remove hex or something?

Are you, on the off chance, editing with sue's afterwards?
Or are the songs you're putting in larger than the originals?

That should work perfectly. Try putting 1041 for language. That's exactly what I did for my org yesterday. No luck? Try it on a fresh doukutsu. If that works, it might've been because you were using sue's (*cough* inferior) afterwards. Or, you might have done some crazy stuff with a hex editor or something that screwed it up.

...This has got me thinking. I wonder if there's a way to use assemby to make CS play midi files...

Wait, you put the name in ALL CAPS, right? ORG should be that way too.

Just open the NpcGuest.pbm with Paint and draw your wizzard where the hermit is

yes but how do I get him out of "sleep and be completely oblivious to the dude taking magic wands from the treasure chest" mode?:(

That's TSC stuff. You need to use the ANP command to animate him and make him not sleep. There's a list of ANP command numbers somewhere around. Could someone give it to him? My phone has no copy/paste option.

thx, I tried putting <ANP0301:0000:0000 for when he wakes up but didn't work then tried <CNP0301:0030:0000 and still doesnt work, if i'm doin sumthin wrong please tell me!

ps: for me he's standing too but his eyes are closed and hes snoring.
