Although it doesn't mess up your exe, it just freezes CE. If your exe is messed up, it's probably cause you used SW or have more than 102 maps.

Well, the files shown there are either not there (which means you've been screwing around with ASM) or don't have the (C) Pixel ending (which you can fix with CE).

I started off with Sue's workshop cus it came with the deluxe package and I refused to go to another editor. I gotta admit Sue's workshop is pretty damn simple and smooth.

In all the time I used it though I very rarely had any .exe problems at all.
Its very stable indeed.

P.S I use cave Editor now due to seeing Noxid and GIR use it and Noxid gave me some tips ;)

-Having to download the CSD
-Or having to download the Japanese version AND English Patch?
My computer is being really stupid when I attempt to save to the CSD file.

Ok, I have another question. I open the new downloaded game in CE, and edit it a bunch. Then, I save all my work, and open up the game. The work I just wasted half an hour on doesn't get uploaded to it.

Yes, I'm saving to the right thing.

Should I not use CE right away? I just find SW kind of annoying.

tl;dr
Why can't I open up my saved version of CS?

Did you turn off "read-only" on the CS folder? You need to do that.

Ok. In the first room, you jump into a hole. There are 2 entities, Flags are 0100, and they are the triggers for the <TRA. I also have a save point and health box in there. The save point's script is 0016, and the health box's is 0017, if that matters. Script:

It teleports you to the new map, at 11, 5, and triggers event 0071. There are no tiles at 11, 5. No entities in this map. Script:

<FAI0000<END

No, I don't want a <WAI, that's why it's not there.

I go to test it. I spawn in the first map, save then jump down the hole. The <FAI triggers, but then an error comes up.
What's causing it? I mean, I'm super early into this, and I don't wanna screw it up:(

Ok. The error comes up everytime I use a <TRA. I've checked through the scripts 4 times. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THEM.
Man, I'm freaking annoyed.
