The relationship between Quote and Curly

Eh... maybe, but that's more of a "saying what you mean to say" fail than a logic fail.

 

It was the "Sue's a different species" part that led me to say "logic fail", I think...

 

Well, Quote is a robot, Sue's a Mimiga/Human so yeah they are different species.

 

They're robots. Nothing happened. Nor were they born, and therefore are not part of any literal family. Hell, they're not even really alive.

 

Unless they're like the Terminator from the first movie, with a living skin.

I think Curly and Quote's relation would be hard to describe....
They were both made for the sole purpose of destroying the Demon Crown, and their lives were both seen as expendable (No one was sent to even recover the bodies); they've both, separately and together, gone through hell, figuratively and literately, to save an entire island, race, and world; they've both risked each others lives for the other (Curly with the air tank and Quote with the medicine/tow rope/mushroom); and with them both being a type of robot (As in fully mechanical, Android, etc.) we're not entirely sure about (even though knowing wouldn't really help), it'd be pretty hard to imagine what they're thinking...

I don't know if we've even got a word for their relationship. I wouldn't say they're in love with each other, but I also can't see them as siblings....
Maybe something almost like kinship, but much stronger......and...different...

Anyways, that's what I think; although I'd prefer what Pixel'd say, he wants the fans to use their imaginations >.>;.....

 

I'm just wondering, on a probability basis, what are the odds they both develop amnesia?

Perhaps a common design flaw... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

 

Or the guy who caused the amnesia did the same thing to both... (i bet it was the previous crown master)

My theory is that they were purposely built to be inseparable. If one gets in trouble, the other will help. They are meant to be the perfect team. And making them opposite genders adds to that.

I'm pretty sure Curly doesn't have any OMFG HORNY feelings for Quote. My biggest clue is that at the end of Sacred Ground, when the walls are closing in and they're both about to die, she doesn't even try to make out with Quote before they're crushed.
That's what you're supposed to do. Especially if you're anime. And if she does feel that way about Quote, she fails at expressing it. Fails so hard.
Dump her, Quote. She's a cold, unfeeling robot. Never look back, Quote.

I don't believe there is any romance between the two. I think they are just really good friends.
