I think he means that there can't be a relationship between Sue and Quote because of age differences {Decency here}, which would leave Curly....

Although I do think that Pixel was trying to imply a quasi-romantic relationship between Quote and Curly, there really isn't anything to either prove or disprove it, so it mainly depends on the point of view of the player. I could see myself falling for someone with a Curly-esque personality, so when I play CS you could say that there is such a relationship between her and Quote, but if, say, Garde played CS, then Quote would prolly be much more likely to go for Sue

Well, if that's what you do IRL, then when you play CS, that's exactly what he does.

Heh, I also think the relationship depends on what path taken (ingame).

On easy: Yea, I can see QuotexSue.
On Hard: I see only CurlyxQuote, Maybe SantaxChaco, but that's slight offtopic.

 

There is even less evidence of Quote being romantically interested in Sue, and absolutely nothing to support Sue liking Quote. The only thing that points towards Quote <3'ing Sue is when he follows her off the island (omg spoilers), and even that could be entirely platonic.

 

There's a few more hints toward QuotexSue, one being how Mahin asks if the letter she gave you is a love letter. Sure it actually wasn't one, but it shows that Pixel was hinting at it.

Well, I don't think age matters to a robot, lol. Even if Sue was 30, Quote would still be the same.

I'd say Sue is 12 at the oldest, and if you want to match Quote's maturity level to his apparent age then fine but most of the things he's doing a 14 year old wouldn't be able to handle mentally. IF that makes sense.

A lot of the cutscenes between the two of them, like after the first egg corridor seemed kind of like bonding moments to me, but I'm probably just interpreting it like that because I have a fanboyish crush on Sue and that's how I want it to be.
