So at the end of the true ending Balrog flies to the right, slight upwards to what I think is this command: <ANP0230:0020:0002. Is there a way to make Balrog go right and slight down?

Look in the sfxlist.txt file and the sound "Puppy Bark" should be in there.

Oi, let him learn on his own! Holding his hand won't always be the solution! ;)

he might not have had sfxlist.txt or knew what it was. this would have lead to him asking a second question. yes, holding his hand isn't always the best solution, but it is definitely the fastest.

I still use cave editor...
[insert string of pointless posts arguing over which editor is better here- even though it won't matter and the exact same argument will be had a month from now]

Even if it's in CaveEditor.txt, he might not use Cave Editor or know where that is. I've been using Cave Editor forever and have never seen (or cared to look at) CaveEditor.txt. I didn't know it existed until you mentioned it just now. Again, it would be much faster to give a direct answer than to make someone look for a text file they may or may not have.

Yeah, being independent is great and all, but it can be a huge pain when those around you who know the answer won't give it to you simply because they want you to be independent/are too lazy to open up a text file and tell you the answer.

I mean, Walrus_Guy has been pushing it with the questions, like, those that he can easily find the answer to in the tutorials (i.e. trivial stuff and modding basics). If most modders can learn on their own, I'm pretty sure he can, too.

You may be right on this. However, there are 388 pages worth of questions and answers in this thread. Whatever question he may feel like asking, there's a high chance of it already being answered.

Take it with a pinch of salt, because there are many times where people would ask a question and the answers they would get are links to older posts in this thread, because the questions they asked have already been answered! It's not that hard to search, nor is it time consuming. Blame Xenforo for its inability to search up TSC commands because they're "too short" for the search engine to find, though.

The point of this thread is kinda that people don't have to search through the whole thing to get the answer they want, it's a good idea to try first but this thread is so big now it's often not reliable

Is there a way to give the player exp through a script that isn't putting a bunch of empty sprites and changing them to exp like in the first Balrog right. (<SOU0045<CNP0150:0001:0000) Is there a way to give the player exp through an exp terminal? I currently have the sprite done and the script for it in head, but if possible how do I make it give the player exp similar to how the refill station gives <LI+1000/AE+.

probably not without asm hacks. but putting a bunch of empty sprites should work just fine.

You can use <SNP to make the crystals spawn without needing a billion null entities. I've done it a couple times in my mods, though I really wish there was a way to make those crystals spawn in as medium or large ones as opposed to the normal small crystals.

@TheCyberSleuth Fair enough, I've never done assembly hacking so then I doubt it's a possibility.

@SeasonsOfDestiny I'll try it out, I'm glad there's a command for it, even if it's just small crystals, and I agree, there should've been a command for medium/large crystals. (Update 20 minutes later) Yep it works like a charm for however minimalist it'll be without assembly hacking, thanks!

I'm making a game and at one point I want the guy to fight the omega boss
I did it in the sand zone so all the scripts and stuff is the same, but for some reason omega is just floating in the air even before the boss fight begins!
I don't know what to use to lower it, there only is 2 sprites (i deleted misery)
The horizontal vertical trigger (to start the fight) and something sprite 0 with a event of 201

Please help i want omega to be lowered and I don't know how

if you ever update boosters lab again make that one of the things in the hacking thing "set omega location" or something like that
not sure if that's easy though
darn got any ideas for what I should do? maybe ill somehow lower the map im not sure
