Well whatever their mission was, thats all they could do.
Wrong. Not only did they kill him, they also defeated the next person to take up the Demon Crown (ie the Doctor) and even defeated Ballos himself, presumably destroying the Demon Crown.

The only reason Quote did what he did was because he was being controlled.

Regardless of what Quote and Curly are capable of, this thread assumes you're transferring your Mind into a robot, and have as much freedom as you do now.

well, in that case, no.

Is asking if you'd let your mind be transfered into a superpowered humanoid perfect robot with no limitations really the most interesting question? If that's the choice it just comes down to whether the person really believes that it'd still be "me" inside the robot, since otherwise there's no drawbacks. Here's a better philosophical question:

Imagine you could have your brain, your very own brain along with your very own mind, hooked up to a robotic body in such a way that it could live theoretically forever as long as you didn't get in an accident. However, the robot body is clumsy and weak, and can barely handle stairs, rather less running or other physical activity you're capable of. If you do this you could live for an arbitrarily long period of time far exceeding your natural lifespan... but you will be crippled physically, and your decision to be different will be readily apparent in social situations. Now imagine that this could only be done successfully if you had the operation performed, say, at exactly the age of thirty (no deathbed transfers allowed, that's a no-brainer). Would you do it?

I'd have to say no to that; the quality of life is much more important than the quantity.

If it meant living forever, then no way!
Everything would get really boring and i personally think life is about growing up with lines on your face, aging and dieing cause without death, life is quite meaningless

Yeah being able to do all those things everyday of your life is why the concept of living forever is so appealing but eventually you'll get to the point where you've done everything
and everything loses meaning cause it's just so damn dull. Come to think of it, if it just meant being able to live until I'm ready to die then It would be good but then again it'd be so hard to just decide: I'm ready to die now, the same bollocks has been happening my whole life and things are never gonna get anymore interesting.

My point is that the whole point of life is doing everything exciting before you die, not while we're still living! BEFORE WE DIE!

No, we're talking from the point of view of the characters in the story. From their perspective, the player does not exist.
