Actually, I wanted to know how could she survive the explosion, but just now I realised that the Undead Core might've exploded only after they'd already escaped the building. Although the rocks begin to fall right after Quote defeats the Core...

They're safely inside the building when it explodes. They feel it and everything starts to shake, and outside the rocks are falling from the explosion. The falling rocks INSIDE the building are from the shaking.
