The first time you played Cave Story...

I wasn't laughing that hard, it was more like an arrogant snicker.

Time I laughed my arse off:

When Balrog ran away (all of them, especially Balfrog)
When Igor died
When Curly got pwnt by my fireball
When Monster X exploded, revealing a (subtle) tribute to Sonic... Maybe...?

So, yeah.

 

I loled when:
Sue got pwned.
I killed Pooh with 1 HP left. (Not for long tho, coz I died stepping on his corpse)
When I saw Kazuma's facepic for the first time.
When Quote fell upside down in the normal end.

 

I'd be a hypocrite if I reacted.. I laughed when king and toroko and booster died.

HYPOCRITE!

 

I didn't even react when K and T died. I just didn't thinque they coulda died. I was sure they'd turn up late in the game.

Coincidentally, that's exactly what crossed my mind when Aeris was stabbed in the back by Sephiroth on FF7...

(In an unreleased fanfic I've been making, I altered this "horrible event in history" with a Dimensional Portal, a Time Control Belt, and a Portable Duplication Device, all of which were prototypes. After I enter the Virtual World through the DP, I pause time with the TCB and use the PDD to create a copy of Aeris to take her place, thus preventing her and her source from being sent into oblivion. However, one thing after another begins to happen that threatened our lives... the TCB malfunctioned after the flow of time was restored and had to be tossed before Aeris and I were caught in the implosion. The DP ceased to function when Aeris & I return to the world of reality, just barely making it through in time. Lastly, the PDD gained a 'life of its own' and allowed the "Resurrection" of Aeris in disks 2 & 3. Why else would "she" [The duplicate Aeris] not bleed after getting killed? Oddly enough, I thought of this long before playing Chrono Trigger...)

When Curly died, I was like, "HAHAHA, THAT BITCH DESERVED IT.", but I forgot the reason.

 

When I first played through I let curly die, and I was sad. I kept looking for ways to pick her up or get her out of the water, but Quote wouldn't do anything. After about 15 minutes of examining her waterlogged body, I just gave up and left. Sad when you see her just laying there as the island falls near the end of the game. ;(
