I have a problem with editors, everytime i try to save anything on cave editor or miza(those are the only editors i've tried) it says it has a problem with saving and wont let me save, i tried making doukutsu.exe not read-only, i removed the "(C) Pixel" requirement for images, i tried running cave editor in admin mode, but nothing works, does anyone know how to fix this?

Use Booster's Lab. Also, Sue's Workshop can edit read-only without you having to uncheck the boxes.
(Plus, you must remove read-only on the whole Doukutsu folder, not just the exe!)

I'm having a spiriting issue related to fade.bmp. For some reason whenever the fade animation occurs small yellow lines appear everywhere on the screen that isn't currently faded. I've tried removing little bits and pieces of the image to see what is the cause, but to no success.

It appears that the image is a little hard to see, but I'm wondering if this is just some technical issue with the game I haven't been able to identify yet.

Well yes, I put those in there myself. There are yellow lines at regular intervals, which I did not plan for.

The first 16x16 square needs to be completely blank. There is yellow in this square. The yellow in this square is the cause of your yellow lines appearing where you don't want them.

Change the starting event from #0200 to something else or just erase that event.

Edited weapon damage and added a new map in CE. When I ran the game, none of the changes were in effects. Went back to CE, changes still there.
(I had unchecked read-only from data folder and executable.) Any help with this?
EDIT: apparently CE was saving to a totally different game in another folder whoops! (Fail to me)

)And i need help in making a mod.Basically I use CE (Cave Editor) And so i edited the .pbm files.BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT I CANNOT EDIT THE MAP.Miza and CE is not working,In CE it says 'Error saving map file' and i even

.SW makes the mod crash, so i rather not use it.

I also edited the scripts.But i really need to edit the room.(I can change the tileset)
