It won't "die" unless you animate it to die, either with <DNP or a custom animation.

What would you use to change the icon for the game? I made an image, but the reshacker said I need a special image format and I don't know what saves into that format.

The format is ICO. (I think)
Just Google something, maybe. I used a program called Microangelo.

Okay, so I made my own boss fight, with the main guy spawning enemies that try and attack you. However, on contact, they don't do any harm at all, except for nudging you around. Why does this not work??
(By the way, I use the <SNP command to make the enemies appear).

While TSC events run, Quote becomes invincible to any damage that he could take from npcs.

So basically you can't make a boss from TSC.

Yes.

Quote has invulnerability from entities so long as the TSC event is running. (The only thing that can damage him during the TSC event is map spikes, since they're a tile and not an entity).

I'll sound like a retarded piece of shit who doesn't deserve to live and should be burned alive, but is there any easy way to free the character from <KEY other than ending the event? I'm trying to make it so that a message appears, and then you have five or so seconds to escape.

Not in script, as far as I know, but what you can do is have an entity 0 with the next event you want to run, place it in a wall somewhere and give it the flag for run event on contact - 0x100 I believe. Then, <MNP the trigger entity to your location before <END and it should pick up. The only thing is there might be exactly one frame where you're vulnerable; I'm not sure as I haven't tried this myself.

I'm trying to start a boss fight with balrog, but when I use the BSL command, he animates, but when the fight starts, his hp bar doesn't go down when he gets hit. I triple checked to make sure the command is set to the right event number.

I was under the impression that <FRE did that.

I figured it out. I switched all of his events from 300 to 500. I don't know why it worked, but it did.

Hm, uh, is it possible to make an entity Quote and make it use the Mimiga Mask set of sprites?

If the entity doesn't appear at the same time as the character does, then just equip the mimiga mask and I believe the entity should have it too. If you wan't both on the screen at once, then you're better off using another entity.

Which flags are okay to use?
I've noticed that flags with certain values simply don't work. I'm worried about running out of flags if you can only have 999. :greydroll:
Please note that there is no sarcasm, I might actualy run out. Maybe map flags would work...

I can think of no reason why any flag from 100-7999 should not work
You should be wary of <DNP and <DNA as these things will set a flag if an entity has a particular flag ID

I don't know whats wrong with me then. I used flag one-thousand and something, and the game didn't set it when I set it, I changed the flag number, but kept the script the same, and it worked then. Then again, I have had alot of errors that were fixed by changing numbers.
