Hi, I am making a mod, and I need little help for modding, I just need to know hoW TO make
three save slot? Any little help will be appreciated.

3 Saves deletes the boss data for Undead Core, and Noxid made the hack. You can look it up.

Dammit! I was mainly looking for Omega's Since I somehow kill it in 5 hits... Oh well, thanks for the other ones.

EDIT: Ugh, please don't call me stupid. I just really don't understand ASM and what values I have to edit. Do I have to tweak the E_X+40, *number* part?

edit the value after the +40

If I wanted to change the core's health to 100 I would do this:

MOV DWORD PTR DS:[EDX+40],256

Also I'f you're having issues with Omega, I suggest you use a fresh copy of doukustu, (it should be VERY easy unless you have added maps)

When I try to change the Undead Core's health to FA0 (4,000), it doesn't want to work and automatically makes it into 0FA0 for some reason.

gosh, I had that same problem just the other day! I went to get some gas and I told the attendant I wanted 5 dollars worth of gas, but the meter rang up 05.00! He tried to tell me it was the same but I know better than that, and so I complained to his manager and after a bit of a row they told me to leave or they'd call the police for causing a public disturbance. Joke's on them though, I didn't have to pay for the extra zero!

Yes, assemble it anyway. Noxid's pulling your leg. 0FA0 = FA0. Sometimes Olly just adds a zero to the left to keep the number of digits shown an even number. This does not change the actual value.

(and on a similar vein, can you animate the player directly?)

EDIT: can I make insta-death "spikes" (actually lava) in the spritesheet editor?

As in when you overwrite/save the map, the program set's it to those dimensions, or did it suddenly change to that and CE is just now telling you this.


Either way that's a pretty big mess-up...

I'm having a problem with the AI that you get in the Labyrinth, I'm trying to get rid of the Machine Gun aesthetically so that the AI still shoots it, but it looks like it's not there. I've edited all the bmp files that might effect it but it still looks like it has the Machine Gun. Is there anyway to get rid of it?

A) .PBM, not .BMP

B) Did you edit data\npc\curly.pbm? That's where Curly's boss graphics are stored (or if you're editing the actual weapon, edit data\ArmsImage.pbm).

You just open .pbms in Paint or equivalents.

EDIT: Don't you mean the Sand Zone? The only AI with a Machinegun I can think of is Curly.
