They weren't out of order either.

Could I see your code, and a list of your entities? Spoilered, of course. Maybe I can find the problem.

you mean the code for what? the life capsule? I can't give you that code because I ereased it. All I have for entities is 3 doors, and a life capsule( that I'm deleting).

You don't. Ever.
The best you could do is increase the size of the tileset and copy/paste another under the first.

What??

Changing the tileset... changes all the tiles on the map.. to the new tileset.
How would it not change the room unless the new tileset was exactly the same as the old one.

I just told you...
Well if your pbms are still pbms, change them to bmps. Then increase the size of prtWhatever so prtWhatever2 fits in there. Then copy/paste prtWhatever2 in prtWhatever, but under the original stuff.
Then CMP everything.

...Unless you're talking about switching from one tileset to another, during an event.
I can't think of a way to do that without ASM.

When do you use CMPs, Jed?
...I apologize, that sounded jerkish.

If the new tileset only has a different color theme then this would be a pretty good addition, don't you agree Noxid?

No. Just make a new map with a different tileset.
It's not like palette swapping entire levels is a common practice.

Maaaan, I've been trying to quick-switch from one map to an identical one during a cutscene, to get around the whole, "only two npc-tilesets per map" thing. And... It's not pretty. It works, but it's not pretty.

I think he was talking about actual tile-sets, jed. Prts, not Npcs.

That's too harsh man. You could've said "Not really" or "I don't think so".

It isn't common at all, but it would quite interesting to create.

I've got a problem! I changed up the polar star, and it worked really well. All of a sudden, when I shoot it doesn't shoot a bullet anymore. it just shows a little flash.

Did you screw with the # of hits? Or the assembly code of the polar star?

What about bullet.pbm, did you mess with that? Otherwise it might just be a coincidence.
