Anyway, Balrog is obviously either a robot or a cyborg. Something of the non-humanoid variety, which would make him pretty old for a robot, but . He could have come with the human explorers before the third bearer (Miakid) came into things, or sometime during the time of the second bearer. He obviously didn't come with Miakid, and wasn't a part of the war.
If Balrog is a cyborg, or his consciousness was transferred into a robot body then that could explain the existence of Pooh Black. Though Pooh Black is most likely the byproduct of the beta where Balrog was just a standard commonly occurring enemy with no name, like with slimes from DQ.
Native race? How about the Gaudi and Mimigas?
As for the demon crown, I am not sure.

And please give evidence of this thing that you read's existance.
I would guess that you were reading something about Lord of the Rings, which has a Balrog in it that is in no way related to Cave Story's Balrog. The LotR Balrog is definitely a demon. Cave Story's Balrog... probably not.G. freemaan said:I remember reading something saying that bolrog (yes the "metal suitcase" your talking about) is actually a demon (with no background story to why he is even in the game)
As are yours.Fire1052 said:Oh, is that what he was talking about? Well then his comments are definitely invalid!
