Total awesome, I wish I had the patience to make so many cutscenes and write proper plot, but I can never do it. Great stuff so far, I hope to see more in the future... or the past?

@Haithm: *headslap*... why didn't I think of thumbs.db? Ugh, I keep forgetting to delete those for some odd reason. Thanks a million for pointing it out! I'll be sure to nuke 'em for the next revision, whenever the deuce that may come. :p

@Softmints: Thanks there! And regarding the plot... anyone can do it, really. Just make up random nonsense if you must... it makes things funny sometimes. :p

Oh, and perhaps you already HAVE played the future build in the past but don't know it yet? Hmm...

One of the two things I have to say about this is "Oholysh-I came."

The second? "Get it done faster plz". Hehe, no rush, but I'm anticipating this greatly.

Don't feel bad, DragonBoots, my ASCII face is by far nowhere as good as yours.

And as for this mod, just, wow... There's plenty of unusual and impressive things here that I didn't even know that could be done with CS.

That one scene where Kate seems to stop the flow of time until Xaser leaves the screen is definitely one of these impressive features.

The dialogue is also well made. A lot of humor mixed in with the excellent storyline and great characters.

The hidden part of the ending is well worth it, especially. The hidden item that activates it is definitely a nice surprise, as well.

Keep up the good work with this mod! Maybe if we're lucky, some Timeshift will swing in our favor and allow Xaser to complete the next release of Schism:ST ahead of the predetermined schedule.

(Timeshift is a reference to the Xbox 360 title of the same name)

Nice work with the demo. Although I don't agree with how you chose to do some things, it definitely has some shiny unforgetable moments :D

My favorites :
Intro +, new fork +, balcony +, cutscenes +, plot +, character design +, music +, sound +, demo extras +

I was a bit awkward with how everyone spoke, although it had its own charm.
Also, thought the main archives were a bit difficult to navigate, because it was a little hard on the eyes personally... and I might be as cruel to say that I don't think the portraits match the character's pixel sprites exactly [the sprite Xaser reminds me a bit of Duke Nukem].
But really, Schism is quite a bit of fun to play...
So, keep up the great work!

[The word schism is so familiar, seems like I personally used it somewhere before... or maybe have seen it used in something before... Oh well, must have been another life...]

This mod made me sad :( Right when I was getting into it, it ended, lol.

Good job on everything man. Especially allowing us to skip cutscenes we've seen before. I got really pissed when I first died at Escher because I thought I was going to have to watch all that crap again, but you let me cut through it D:

You died on your first try against Escher??! Seriously?? Or has Xaser fixed the bug?

I'm not sure what bug you're talking about, but yeah, I died on him. It was weird, because he would jump behind that force field. Another thing that confused me was how I would try to jump behind him to dodge the shot. I would jump too early, and fall right on his machine gun shots.

I know he's not that hard, but I'm just not that extreme yet :p I only died on the first try though, I got it through my head not to jump too early the second time around.

Hehe, that's the trick with him... he *does* fire quite a long time so it's easy to jump too early and wind up with a face-ful of plasma anyhow.

Yeah, I know it's just a re-skinned Curly fight but the weak weapon makes it hard this time around. :p

And about what Roonil said... I released an earlier version with a silly bug that made Escher just stand there and get shot, never attacking. Obviously if you had died on that one, your skill might be questionable. :o

And for everone's general information, the next version *is* being worked on. The next "demo" will probably be released as "official" (i.e. all the default music and sprites replaced), and then I'll work on spreading the demo around like wildfire (...I'll *try* at least!). As for the full version, the Forest section is coming along quite nicely. Poor Zarro's not alone now. XD
