There's a difference between not being hit on and not having any attractive qualities whatsoever, ya know. In fact, I think they'd only equate in a world where people have zero inhibitions. Thankfully, that is not this world.

Are you seriously sure you won't go insane from loneliness?

What is so bad about being insane?

i walked into the room quietly when all the other guys were out eating and i started to just sob quietly, and tears came out of my eyes. this loneliness is so painful.

Girls ain`t better than boys. You think you have mistakes, they have too and they`re aware of it. They just want to have fun and they think sometimes as dirty and selfishly as boys. Don`t think they are princesses and unreachable. Don`t fear of being dumped it`s not so bad. You`ll reject and be will be rejected, that`s how life is. I know, I was rejected, but also rejected other girls too myself - really nothing to be ashamed of. You`ll have more and more confidence in time, and you`ll find someone who makes you happy eventually.

This man is a wiseman.

What can I say, I just love it when people turn the forums into their personal blog.

I loved it when you treated the forum like your blog.

What about getting hit on by furfags and other females?

DoubleThink said:
Considering that this happens on nearly every other site on the internet it's not that hard to get a fair idea, but it's still entirely your fault for not willingly choosing to be a dude before you were born

Plenty of other people do it

It's all men's fault for thinking they needed an extra thingymacbob.

I wish I was Quote. I wih I was a brave robot soldier, who can jump four times his height, shooting his pistol and machine gun and pumping lead into huge bosses and carrying the sexy beautiful girl on his shoulders as they fight through hell together.

You... you... can't be serious.

So you're saying body language exists on the internet?

A form of body language does exist, yes. It is not the same as when in the real world, but once you're able to pick up on it you can basically tell anything about the feelings of the person even over the internet.

I think that's true to some extent, but I think they way we communicate in general changes completely depending on what mediums one uses.

On the internet, there are less social inhibitions because of the factor of anonymity. While we may be able to use an alternative to body language, the way we act and subsequently the way we use such body language changes.

What the internet lacks is the spontaneity of face to face conversation. For this reason, the internet is a slightly less socially awkward place than the real world.

I am not personally familiar with internet body language, which is evident given that I find sarcasm impossible to convey in text form.

True, however, since online forums are not real time, it is much easier to fake "body language" on forums than IRL.

Yes, a form of it does exist. However it does not give you the right to call me ignorant >=[

When communicating through text, one can take the time to think through what they are saying. At least, that's what you should do, or else you're using the internet wrong. Get off and find some real friends.

However, when using a textual medium, a lot of the subtlety is lost. You need to be a very effective writer to communicate the same small emotional cues that come with face-to-face talking. For the most part, that doesn't matter, but it makes emotional discussion over the internet very difficult. Misunderstandings happen too much.

P.S. This is pretty off-topic right now guys.

If it isn't real, it is.

I'm not even talking about this one case.
I mean in general, it's just hard to deal with.
One-sided attractions are just the first barrier

But yeah, that was a little jaded, sorry.
