No, no, that's in JN. You can still beat the game, sue is just an extra thing. A side-mission type thing.

Yeah, that's been happening a lot. It's a problem with the flags I've been putting in so the game knows what ending you get. Man, that was more confusing than the sand zone puzzle!

Also, for some reason, there's an ending glitch. No matter what event # I assign misery in sand zone (event 700 and 701) and use the same event # for FON, it just goes to one of the skeleton guys' feet. And sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Help pl0x! (The misery entity is #3000, and by the lower-right barriers)
NOTE: going through the code may result in some spoilers.

EDIT: Also, if anyone wants to help me make a new sprite sheet for the final boss, now's the time.
Post bump. I really need to find out what's wrong with sand zone.

Re: Jenka's Nightmare Revived

Is this one of the secrets? I don't remember anyone else mentioning it.
The diary in the sand zone teleporter room. I dont think this affects anything in gameplay though other than just being able to read it?

Also, did you fix the bug in genesis:earth where if you save in the little room after you free balrog from the sand, you're permanently stuck there? I don't have any convenient save files to test it from

and also, yeah, the ending...
if it still has those two bugs still there it doesn't have my stamp of approval as a completed version :p

Yeah, it is from him. And do you mean the glitches that give you the wrong endings? I believe they're fixed.

Well...
after I defeat pooh black with the sky blade, its still doing the thing where he says oblivion tricked me, curly seems to be in trouble, and then End.

I'm using a save file from a game i started in the 1.01 version where I saved in that room that used to be under the heavy press. i dont think it would make a difference though?

And the first bug I'm not talking about the ending, it was when you
free balrog from the sand. if you free him, and then go into the little save room, and then come out of the save room, balrog is gone and so is your only way out

I'm pretty sure I fixed the balrog glitch a while ago. And the ending glitch I'll look into.

Re: Jenka's Nightmare Revived

There's still a block which is initially inside the floor in Labyrinth W.

You might consider toning down Oblivion's health from the current 5000 or so. Once you've killed the Critters, the rest is just mopping up, but it takes ages thanks to his humongous health bar. Multiple forms would be fine, but one form with that much health is boring.

Oh, and stealing the uberBubbler is a massive dick move. It takes a LOT of work to get that weapon.

EDIT:

So, I got up to the boss Genesis.

I hate to say this, but I'll be honest. Oblivion's and Genesis's dialogue has all the depth of cardboard, and there's an apparent contradiction between "Genesis is not defeated" and "you defeated Genesis in Genesis: Source".

:)

EDIT2:

So I got the bad ending, which makes utterly no sense. WTF?

How do you get the one life capsule in the Sandzone, which is beneath the spikes?:)

Get hurt, run like heck past the uber-spike on the left, grab the life-up, hurt yourself again on the spike, run like heck past the uber-spike again.

I've got two questions: Why aren't you able to hold two life pots and could you make an option which allows you to take the Mimiga charm away?

Re: Jenka's Nightmare Revived

You can only carry one because they're the same item. But that is a good idea.

And that contradiction is...contradicting.

The endings are still screwed up.

Maybe I should keep the uberBubbler in, but not the detonator, and if I only take out that, it's unbalanced.

The detonator is only really useful against Oblivion, what with his absurd HP, against "The Real Genesis" it's all but useless, as you're too busy trying to dodge attacks to bother getting close enough to kiss him.

Re: Jenka's Nightmare Revived

Ah, I haven't thought about that.
The bosses in the Genesis "package" seem to be too fast (with the exception of one or two) to use the detonator on.
Yeah, I'll put em both back.
..So, by the talk of all this, I see you guys haven't found the nemesis, huh?

Would it be wrong if I said I saw the code for the stealing of guns, and my first thought was "What?! He takes away the Nemesis too?!"

But no, I haven't found anything that seemed like it would give the Nemesis.

Re: Jenka's Nightmare Revived

Well, there's a perfectly logical explanation for that.
...Which I'm not telling you.
And magic, if you think it's that hard, I could tone down the ending area a bit. Although this is Jenka's Nightmare, and I am making an easy mode.
