I personally think 7zip is much better. It even adds to the right-click menu to unzip very quickly.

Update....coming soon....

Ah, GIR showed me that I was compressing my files wrong, so I'll make a .ZIP.....
....After I finish this next update....
It should've already been finished, but now I've ran into this random problem, and I'm trying to get some help....

It's a major update, but it's also the last one until I release the next part.
{Which, also might be awhile, as I've restarted on one of my other hacks, in hopes of finishing it's first release}

So you'll have to wait a bit, or awhile. Depending on if I can get any help...

EDIT:
And when I say major update, I mean major fix update.
There won't be new areas or such, that would be the next release. I release those in a big bundle, like this first one.
This is to clean everything up {Lotta graphic fixes}, fix any final bugs, and make it less like some random mod and more like it's own self.
Well, it improves the gameplay, too. It should be a challenge, now. Specially the 2nd mini-boss....

I don't think you noticed but when you raise the lift, it says "Rasising the lift..."
Isn't it Raising? :S

I've pretty much given up on playing this because I can't get to his house without getting hit twice, and then die right away after the whole dialogue sequence.

Why put a Saving point only a room away from the first one....?

Eh? I don't have trouble getting to and back without taking a single hit of damage...
The trick is to lure the Critters back a bit, so you have room to jump/run under them...
{If you're having trouble with just this....heheh...}

And wait, are you sure you've got the latest version? You should be able to skip his dialogue after seeing it once.
Unless you quit the EXE everytime you died....

Update.

And it's finally done...
One bug after 'nother, and then the wireless kept failing.....But I finally finished the update....

....Better post it before the wireless goes funny again.....

This should be the last update until the next part. {Unless I somehow missed another bug...}
There's a bunch of changes all around, even a new room, but it's mostly to clean this all up for some LPs.....
Although, it's actually a bit challenging, now. Since I figured out the tables and altered some stats. {GSp actually hurts you on contact, now...}
Still, this update now gives this mod more of it's own feel, instead of just being another random CS mod.
So... Enjoy, and whatnot....

{This is also now a .ZIP and not on Mediafire, so there shouldn't be any more problems with downloading...}

I'm afraid that that I have a problem with downloading. It comes up with a page on the website that says broken link and then it just goes to the Home page of Esnips.

it's not, TOO important atm, but a buffer overrun error occurs during credits.

It's far from complete XD
I just included the credits early to keep track of stuff for myself, and to save myself from the hassle of doing it all at the end.
Now I can just add everything as I go....
{That and I don't like the idea of ending each part with "DEMO OVER" or something along those lines :p;}

I was on the bottom elevator in the security checkpoint, going back up (I had turned on the generator) and a Critter I didn't kill pushed me off. You need to set a flag to lower the lift.

Ok review time! First of all the mod is pretty good because the dialogue makes up for all the faults. Now then - faults time! First of all the lift is too damn slow. while it may not be annoying in lets say a rpg game it gets really obnoxious in an action game which should be all about the action and storyline. The second fault is the fact that it was too short even for a mod (I know its just the beginning but i want MORE). It wasnt that short in terms of dialogue or even places but there are barely two bossfights and it seems that game tries to make up for it with having to fight every boss twice which is just rubbish. Last of all in the beginning there shouldnt be so many enemies if you arent going to give us means to defend ourselves. Its not really difficulty it just means that you have to jump through very carefully which gets boring and tedious after about 3 nanoseconds. Anyway the mod is still really good with some innovative dialogue and atleast this mod isnt just milking the pixels storyline over and over and just gives us a new character to have fun with. Besides i like that our character isnt mute for once.
