First of all the lift is too damn slow. while it may not be annoying in lets say a rpg game it gets really obnoxious in an action game which should be all about the action and storyline. It wasnt that short in terms of dialogue or even places but there are barely two bossfights and it seems that game tries to make up for it with having to fight every boss twice which is just rubbish. Its not really difficulty it just means that you have to jump through very carefully which gets boring and tedious after about 3 nanoseconds. Anyway the mod is still really good with some innovative dialogue and atleast this mod isnt just milking the pixels storyline over and over and just gives us a new character to have fun with. Besides i like that our character isnt mute for once.
Yeah, it'll get better, with more stuff than just shooting everything that moves, and the boss fights will actually get interesting...
But I've been incredibly lazy as of late, so things have gone slow....
'Course, the ideas haven't stopped pouring since I started this, heheheh.....

It's not that they're smaller per se, it's that they provide more colors for a smaller file size.
'Sides, they can be edited just like any BMP using paint, or hell, the built-in graphics jiggy in CE.

Yeah, you do that Capta- I mean Lowell.
Iunno. I could've just as easilly used GIF, JPG or PBM (the actual Portable BitMap type).
I just figure... Meh.
TDP is moving towards a secret end that I'm not willing to disclose, but PNG images will assist in it's goal.

just finished

hi im kinda new on this site

anways i just finished your game and i thought it was a lot of fun. I cant really say much that hasn't already been said but in my opinon you shouldn't cut down on text because that's what made the game more fun and stand out. my only real crititizum is that the credits crash at the end which is kinda annoying. that and it wouldnt hurt to put in a few more save points. thanks for making the game and can't wait till part 2 :D

What's wrong with eSnips?
I don't see much difference between the two, I even prefer it a bit over Mediafire...

Update

Since a few certain people have got me worried about people thinking my mod's dead due to lack of updates, I guess I'll post one right now to quell such ideals.
Though it's not very big....I hate spoilers....

dooey's been helping me with the first real new weapon, as in not just one of the original ones with new graphics.
Right now we just finished the Assembly for it, so the graphics, damage, range, etc aren't done yet, but with just the Assembly done I can tell it's gonna be a fun weapon :D
It's planned to be a sort of long-range weapon, focused on the ability to hit anything, almost anywhere, but for little damage. {Though the accuracy will probably be challenging}
And I'm being vague on purpose, it'll be more fun as a surprise. {And I hate spoilers}
There have been a few Assembly modifications to the old ones, too, but nothing compared to the new weapon.
And, of course, it's only one of more to come....

And the most obvious, the new portraits..
Incase you somehow still don't know, Ralren was bored and redid some portraits.
I really liked the extra details and such, but there were a few things that stuck out to me; so after asking Ralren, he said it was alright to use them and modify them if need be.
Here's a side-by-side comparison of the new and old, with the few fixes:

I think the thing that stuck out the most were the eyes, so I tried using the old ones instead.
Whadda the rest of you think? {I love comments, and I've had mixed feelings over these portraits, especially}

old far right was better, new everything else is good.

Do you mean the entire portrait? Or just one thing or the other...?
I'd like to see your viewpoint. {Because I like it over the old one :D;}

I think I know what he means, the old one on the far right looks less "deranged and crazy".
I'd say the eyes AND the mouth on the last one.
