I'm pretty sure if anyone has down's sydrome, it's you buddy.
You're pretty pessimistic about the whole ordeal. Anyways I'm at the outerwall now, I'll comment more on this when I'm finished getting the good ending (soon-ish).
But yeah, you can say you don't like it, but you really hate it that much?

Never mind. There WILL be a broken base, and an influx of newbies to cave story will probably not help matters much.
I'll get it soon, probably. I'll wait for more reviews first. I'm not going to buy the game to support Pixel, that's stupid. If I had any goodwill or even decency (which I don't), I would have directly donated. Has anyone tried this?

A shame, Jacob was such a good tracker, too. (CF might know what I'm talking about)
We could have got him to come hunt Pixel down for us, then send him all the money we were going to spend buying CSW, and give it to him, rather than his cut, whatever that would be...

Poor Pixel...
You know, Pixel could care a less about the money, he made Cave Story for free.
The one thing he does care about is how people like his game, and with everyone raging over it....

Well I think it's pretty obvious that Pixel had very little contribution to this game, so I feel no guilt over raeging about it. His WarioWare and Soaprun games will probably be great.

Yeah, I thought it was good overall, but Balrog's catchphrase sucks now.
I don't know who thought it was a good idea to change "Huzzah!" (especially to "Oh Yeah!", I would've preferred "Doryaa" personally, but that might just be me).
Also the old music doesn't loop properly. That sucks/needs to be remedied.
One of my other major complaints is that the soundeffects were too loud, and took away from the music (both old and new). I'd appreciate it if they lowered its volume.

Let me revise that then:
The default setting for sfx volume is too high I believe.
Also, not so much a complaint, but the game is quite a bit tougher at parts, now with the increased frame rate. Hell is hell again
(got a time like 3'49).
And they really do need the missile launchers in the sanctuary time attack mode. And a way to save your selection of gear before you go in, so you don't have to go through the hassle of picking it all up each time you die. And a life pot (please).
