Man, the moment I go check up on Cave Story for Wiiware, Tyrone goes ahead and posts an update...

Thanks! (speech synthesizer, eh?)

Sounds neat, but I think if the song 'Onto Grasstown' doesn't feature something along the lines of "Just Open up your heart" at that bit (You know the one I mean), I will scream.

But anyways, I can see about 3 things going to the DLC, Mods/Story Expansions/ETC, New weapons, and new character/Weapon graphics.

It's still in English... And it's an online download (shop channel), so wouldn't they have the same release date when they finish it?

They'd need to translate it into other languages, Wouldn't they?

Like Tyrone said in the blog, he has to translate it in Spanish and French as well. As for other countries other than the US, beats me...

It's using the classic controller, no motion sensors.

He should release the hi-res graphics on PC too.

If they released it on the PC, everyone would have it for free.

"The number of fan-mods based on Cave Story was very impressive, and I would have never expected it," he says.
Yay! Pixel knows about our modding activities and approves.

"Right now we're laying down the structure to ensure the game supports future DLC updates," he says. "That will allow us to do all sorts of fun stuff like Boss Rush Mode or other fan-requested modes."
:D

Ya know, if the people here didn't know about the Blog, they'd think you're talking to yourself, andwhyisit. (assuming they already don't think so) Linky, so nobody's confused!

It's awesome to know that Pixel pays attention to fan-made stuff of Cave Story, even to this day. (possibly future approval for ravenwork's/"other-person-who-I-can't-remember who took over project" DS port?)

And future DLC support. Awesome...

Actually Pixel requested for all unfinished ports to be temporarily put on hold. So Cave Story DS development is at a standstill right now.
