• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

I always thought of him as a luchbox, but I just realized that Japanese lunchboxes look different from American ones as someone said earlier in the thread.

I always thought of Balrog as a square-shaped robot who gets pushed around a lot. Turns out that I was right.

Wait.. After I played the game many times to check out if he had a handle.. I found something out...

He DIDN"T HAVE A HANDLE ON HIS HEAD! You know when you first had to fight him with only a Polar Star? Yeah That time I thought he had a handle ontop of his head. That was because he was standing infront of a door... And the door's top mad him look like he had a handle... LOL :D

I don't know Japanese so can you tell me what "bentoubako" means (assuming that it is a Japanese word), or is it just a Japanese lunchbox?

It's simple a japanese lunchbox, with bentoubako being the box itself.

He said he based his design on a bar of soap, he never said he was a bar of soap.

This directly implies that he is soap though. And what with pooh black turning into bubbles.

But also this:

"Once you put eyes, arms, and legs on a bar of soap, it's not really a bar of soap anymore, is it?"

No it doesn't. A character having their design based on something doesn't mean they are that thing.

I could make a character based on Kanpachi but human, does that make him a Mimiga? No it does not, I just simply used Kanpachi as a base for my character, nothing more, nothing less.

Anyway, the cheater's way out of what Balrog is to simply say Balrog is Balrog.

If he is soap, does that mean the Doctor uses him to clean himself?

-shudder-
