What the heck is Balrog?

i don't know why no one thinks he's a table hockey game!! His arms are the slider things!!!

 

My brother thinks he is a suitcase.

 

I think he's a toaster but there is one thing im sure we can agree on

And everyone I know who has seen and/or played this game says he's a toaster

He's a balrog! Though if I had to make some kind of distinction beyond that, I'd say he's some kind of golem. Hurr hurr.

I think Balrog is a doctor suitcase. Mainly because the mini-ones in the labyrinth are doctors.

In the normal ending, he becomes a nurse at the camp in the labrynth(sp?)

 

He's a lunchbox that heats the food you put inside of it, obviously.

 

Balrog is totally a toaster. he has the little things on the sides that you push down to start the toasting, he has slots on the top, he has the right shape and temperament, and Misery treats him as though he's worthless, and easily replacable.

If all that doesn't scream "toaster" to you, what Would?

I actually have a long complicated theory on WHAT Balrog is and what his origin is...

I won't say it here, since it's almost entirely conjecture, but I'll say this, in my theory, I agree with Slime-- he is the last surviving member of an ancient race of creatures I call "Poohs" (after the boss, Pooh Black), who were wiped out long ago...

Oh by the way, aren't there Paper Fold-up Balrogs out there somewhere?

That does make alot of sense,Its sad that the story does not say anything at all about these races.
