Wrong. If you go back to the Outer Wall after the rest, it's still night.

Well maybe that's cause pixel never made a way to change the background image of a room while playing through the game

yeah everyone knows that and it's exactly the reason why it's night on the outer wall and day on the balcony.

For God's sake, Dave, do I have to hold up a sarcasm sign every time I open my mouth? Or type, for that matter?

That could very well be a case of reverse sarcasm.

I'm sorry but can you not get up at me just because it is actually impossible to read sarcasm? It is a common mistake that happens on the internet and you say that like I have made said mistake several times rather than that single instance just now. And yes, perhaps you should put a sarcasm sign up every time you're being sarcastic if you're so fond of being sarcastic over the internet.

That was already brought up, and that was also already disproven.

But... maybe that dark room was filled with anti-light. Maybe that Sand Croc there- um, no, that's dumb. Sorry.

I'm wondering the same thing.

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say maybe she also uses sarcasm and gets annoyed when he is misunderstood?

Magic!
The island is held up by magic, and is home to several wizards/witches! So why not have all the caves lit up by unintentional magic?
If not, maybe the rocks emit a natural special light. Those types of rocks do, in fact, exist in real life, from what I've heard.

Only three. One with his powers bound, another with diminished power, and another that is not powerful enough and wouldn't really care.

There's a reason I said unintentional magic.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the fourth time someone said that. And I guess it's not the last time...

Anyway, I think it's either the solar panels (I'm not arguing about that anymore, thank you) or the optical fiber I proposed a little back. This theory doesn't need any source of power, explains why there are no visible sources of light and enables the Islanders to distinguish day and night.

I only read the first page... so forgive me if this has been addressed. Don't expect me to rummage through 55 more pages for this.
Do you know why there's light in the underground tunnels? I'll tell you why.
Because playing on a completely black screen would be no fun. No fun at all.
Also, the theory Celtic Minstrel posted about the caves being open to the outside... no. It would be SO FRIGGIN WINDY. And the Outer Wall is not in the shadow of the island, you can see stars and a moon. It's just night time. It takes you a few in-game hours to get from the Outer Wall to the Balcony, probably because you were unconscious in the jail for a while.
