I still use Sue's for most everything to this date, although this may partly be because CE has a 50% chance of crashing whenever I click a button

Oh my.
I never really liked SW, but this, this is looking way better. When this gets finished I might ditch CE for it.

To be frank, I am Frank.
And for that to continue being true, I must admit that I am turned on by girls, not SP.

But yeah, goot stuff!
I am wondering about hacking compatibility and also what loughing is.

There will be hacking compatibility in the future of course.

I meant "laughing" of course. I guess you should use common sense next time. :)

There you go.

diph.php

Nothing much yet: Transparency, Scrolling, "Pen"-Tool and an Eyedropper.

You can see that the map and tileset color is the same color as the background color of all windows, except the main SW window.

Can you 'middle click' and hold to scroll around? Awesome feature in many design GUIs.

I will implement some scrolling features, no worries

The Cave Editor's "add new" (map) button is broken (although @ the version I had before worked fine) and results in problems adding background and stuff
Posted by Noxid:You may be tempted to use the add map button in Cave Editor, but I really suggest you avoid this
.. I'd like if Sue's Workishop would have such a button working flawlessly. Also the screenie looks fine. Well done m8 :debug:

Yup.

Also, I'm not sure how to add maps yet, the only thing I know is to add another exe section but the rest is a mystery for me. I have to look that up, if there is no one who is able to help me with that.

Anyway, have a screenshot or two:

diph.php

I can't show you that with screenshots but all the backgrounds scroll like they would do in game. (Autoscrolling is also possible)

diph.php

You are also able to disable backgrounds and/or scrolling if you want.

diph.php

Also, NPCs are displayed using the NPC Framerects from the exe file, means if you edit something, SW will display something else. (Assuming you will write code that is simular to the one in the exe)

Yes! Finally! My biggest wish for an editor was seeing the sprites of the NPCs! You, S. P. Gardebiter, have made my dreams come true.

Really? That's shooting kind of low, and the latest CE did that (it was a bit glitchy though, not perfect).

My biggest wish for an editor is a C compiler that lets you hack in entities but with C. It would turn the C code into proper ASM for the game and then patch in the ASM.
