once upon a time i was in a drawing room where one person was like obsessed with cave story so while watching a super meat boy video from northernlion i saw he did a letsplay of cave story so i watched it all and got the game on eshop

It was Cave Story's music that brought me into playing the game.
A user on Nitrome Wiki who wrote weekly blog posts once mentioned Cave Story and embedded the Cave Story theme on her post. I listened to the music, and liked it. Since it was embedded from YouTube, I looked at the related videos and listened to Geothermal and Moonsong. I was in love with the Cave Story soundtrack. After checking out a fanmade trailer, I decided that someday, I would download Cave Story. So I Googled it and downloaded a copy. Then I played it and watched a bunch of LPs. The end.

I found out about it through a friend on a starmen.net IRC channel. He gave me a steam key and I loaded it up and BAM, the the main theme is what got me. I loved how the story unfolds.

Saw a vid about him, actually he was the first indie game developer I ever saw and when I played his game it was so well done and I couldn't believe only one guy did all this work so I joined this site
