I wanna see Curly running upside down along the roof of a cavern, held up there by machine gun fire, raining fire on enemies.

Its just an idea that probably sprouted from sonic or advent children, but it would make for a great entrance for Curly when Quote is in trouble.

You can have her surrounded by enemies in a previous scene and when they close in, she does the old machine gun trick, and even Quote's like, wtf!

 

Can you also make Ballos' second form a shield of rock levitating around first form Ballos, that way it has that second form look while making it more realistic.

also who would animate well i would be glad to help
first we need a style though\
i say for quote, curly and the mimigas we do a sort of chibi-ish style
for kazuma, momomin and the docter a more serious style
and for misery a bit in between

and i say we go with the hard ending makes the games seem more hardcore

also it leaves it out for a sequel when quote, curl and balrog leave the island
the sequel could take place at theyre new home
if you see the ending when you kill balos

The part of the story involving Ballos feels
like it should be a sequel because it just makes
it feel like you had to live through two movies
that got mashed together to make one huge
mess.

I wouldn't like to see the island fall, but this
would be the best way to make a good movie
from Cave Story (Doukutsu Monogatari) without
having to mess with the story.

Almost everyone survives in the end, and Ballos
gets finished off in the sequel, so no worries.

Suggestions:
1. I think that Quote should gradually improve his
fighting ability so we can see some interesting
fights towards the end.

2. Also, have Curly moving independently, not
attached to Quote, in the last fight with Ballos
in the sequel.

3. Maybe we could have everyone fighting at once
in the last fight against Ballos, an epic battle in
the making.

He hasn't started on the sequal yet, but there is an outline for the sequel in the below quote from somewhere on page 2 of this thread.

Here is the outline of my sequel:

-Ballos is now free of his island prison, and although he is still insane, his powers have deteriorated. His goal is to gain more power and destroy the Earth.
-Misery and Balrog survive the crash, but have nowhere to go, and no power. Ballos strikes a deal with Misery to give her power as his servant.
-Sue and Itoh still try to find a cure to their Mimiga curse, but overall failing, decide to try and find Misery, for only she can undo her own curse. Of coarse, Quote is ready to help.
-Since the only other Mimigas ever seen on the surface were the mutants 10 years ago, the Mimigas, who must now live on the surface due to their destroyed island, are not welcomed by the humans. They still think that Mimigas are dangerous, and the government plans to send in military to destroy them. Can Quote and Curly stop them?

We're actually making a movie??! I mean, a real, animated movie? I thought this was just a manuscript.

other and never really bothered to ask, but if this is just a
script, it probably will become a movie eventually if everyone
works towards it, I'm sure that there are many people who

What about Cave Story Remix Project or DrumUltimA's Moon Rhapsody for the music? You would have to get permission first for each song, but It'd be worth it.

And the original soundtrack in mp3 is here if you need it.

EDIT: Also we need some custom made music for the movie since some of the remix stuff might not work in the movie and would need to sound less like a computer game and more like a movie, the main theme for cave story would definitely need to be remade.

I hope not, I want to see it as something like the animated movies
you see on TV, besides, with flash the loading times would be
MONSTEROUS.
