It will come when it's ready. It's awaiting something that can't be done by any of the testers or the maker, so whenever that happens it's good to go. It is literally one thing away from release.

i mean, it didn't have a real ending, it just stopped.

But yes, the new version has an ending. A good, tester-approved one at that.
The current version is only up if you really, really wanna play through the old ending or if you want a save near-endgame (which really isn't a good idea anyway, since a lot of things are different and your save won't work very well).

 

I'd suggest waiting, the original ending was far worse than the one in the next release.

Yes, the old version has been deleted because the ending was too crappy to be seen any longer by mortal eyes. But in, like, six hours at minimal, and two days at the MOST, a new version will be released with a freaking ton of glitches fixed, and a better ending. If you look back one page, you'll see people are saying that we're waiting for something important, but now that thing has been done. A new version is so freaking close to being released. All we need is for those of testers who haven't already given their stamp of approval on the final version to do so.

So just wait for that new version. I cannot describe to you how close this new version is to coming. Hurry up, Dunc and Jed. We're waiting on you two now.
