Re: Jenka's Nightmare Revived
For example:
(P = quote, F= flame, and - and | are walls. Ignore the _'s, they help out the diagram from failing)
P
---------
___|_F_|
So, the flame can go either to the left, or up. Either way, it moves closer.
But, since there is a wall blocking the LOS to the left, it will choose to go up instead, for easy capture. Let's see another example.
_______|___________________________P____|
------------------------------------------------------
_______|____F________|_________|________|
Now, since the flame will technically be closer if It moves right, it has no visible advantage over the player. So, it moves up, since it has a clear sight of the player instead. Hope this helps.
(I realize the diagrams are crap. Please don't remind me.)
That's not what I meant. I meant I'd have to take out some items, since you get themagic9mushroom said:The Remote Control is obtained bygiving Malco the Map System in Dead End
It makes an awful lot of sense that way, so you should probably leave it like that.
spur pieces in those panels (I know one's in grasstown)
Lemme cear it up. The flame steps to a position that is most beneficial to catch you.magic9mushroom said:Incidentally, I've gotten through Genesis: Spirit twice now, but I still don't understand the FwooooOOOOOooo bit. Could you explain how to do it? Because while I've beaten it, I have no idea how I did it. (Spoilered, of course.)
I understand that it's a direct LOS to the fire that warps you back, and I understand that usually it moves one step closer to you every time you move between squares, but occasionally it seems to not follow this pattern, and I don't understand why.
