No, it's one of the kids who's at the Oracle's house. He can bend spoons, and Neo is amazed. The kid says that you shouldn't try to bend the spoon, but to realise the truth that there is actually no spoon.

Gotta love luring critters to use them as a platform, eh?

Though, you do die horribly a few seconds after opening the chest.

You do. And you can't get back into the Labyrinth proper, because of the water in the way.

Hmm... even if you did beat the Gaudska-teers, the only real difference it would make is that you'd be able to skip Monster X. You still have to go to the Sand Zone to get the Booster 2.0, and there's nothing in the Sand Zone or Labyrinth that's supposed to be locked out by needing the Booster 2.0 except that one fight.

So you can't sequence-break, and there's no issue.

EDIT: Actually, hang on a sec, you wouldn't even be able to get out of the Gaudska-teer room without the Booster, so there's no issue.

At least give the Gaudska-teers a special line of dialogue for the player getting there early. (perhaps end it with #0042)

Hey, I have an idea. I can make the life capsule chest so that if you sequence break to get it, it gives more health!

Sorry for the double-post, but I have something important to say.
I'll be away for a week. Ergo, no progress on the mod for that time. I'll try and finish it shortly after returning, though!
It would be awesome if you guys could search for any glitches while I'm gone, and post them. That way I'll know what to fix when I get back!

This would be a bad idea. "Sequence breaking" (the critter's only there so that you CAN get it) to get it is its own reward, as you have more health in the interim. No need to punish people for missing it.


EDIT:

You didn't need to make A Familiar Cave easier with the block removal. It was already doable, and looks ugly with the symmetry broken.

Death noises not fixed.

Megane should say "Labyrinth" instead of "labyrinth".

One of Jack's dialogue bits has four lines of text appear between confirmation - slow readers may not be able to keep up.

Power Room doesn't show power on if re-entered.

Still three useless energy cylinders in Genesis: Earth.

The locked door in Misery's house just makes scrolling sounds - no text pops up.

So does the door leading out of Misery's house - hence, the Sand Zone is not completable. :o

Sequence breaking is the art of finding ways to get to stuff that the designer didn't intend for you to have yet. hence, no extra reward is needed for those doing it for the fun of it.

Indeed. Though making sure it doesn't result in unwinnability is a good idea.

Alright, alright, I'll take it out.

The thing in a familiar cave? i foolishly changed because my friend kept falling down there. I have another solution, though, so I'll fix it.

As said before, I'm doing the death noises last.

I'll get on that broken door thing in misery's abode, ASAP, before I leave.

Why, is there a problem with the Waterway?

Also, even if you do fall down into that thing in A Familiar Cave, you can get out. Heavens knows I do it often enough when trying to finesse the Critters.

Wait, I thought the Spur worked in this version?

Although you need to go through Genesis: Spirit anyway to get that...

Hmm. Going through the Waterway ought to be a viable choice, even if it's not the optimal one.

What? I never said the spur was unobtainable.
And it's a problem with the programming, not with insufficient resources. You aren't physically able to pass oblivion if you go a different route.

I presume you plan to fix that. :chin:

I thought you were implying the dreaded Black Wind, as even the broken weapons are crap at level 1, and the Nemesis is what you get by talking to that statue.
