Belive me, I'm not a picky person.
Maybe other people will not like it, but I'm sure that i can appreciate it.
(Unless if they bastardize his picture or something, but having Pixel involved actively in the art department i can rest well regarding that.)

 

They based it off of the sprite in the new game instead of the endgame pics (like your recolored avi), so he has the chin thing sticking out of his face. It vaguely reminds me of quote's facepic from WTF Story (minus the shades and awesomeness)

Well, if nobody posts it by tomorrow morning, I guess I will.

And do note that I have a rather crappy TV tuner, so don't expect a very high quality snapshot.

And like cultr1 said, it's not an amazing moment. More of a... WTF moment, since nobody would expect him to talk even then.

 

My picture have the problem that is taken from the scene that Quote is underwater, so the hair and other details might be an little off (Iron Head didn't help me at all),
But I'm not that great of a spriter and that was best scene i could get from pixel's art for a face picture, i wanted it to be like it would be made by Pixel the most possible i could edit myself. (And you might notice that the colors are a bit wrong because of what i could do myself with the amount of colors i know i could use, a bit like Misery Hair on the PC Version.)
(Hope that you disappointment of the wii version wasn't influenced because of me )

I will make a better judgment of the Wii version picture latter, when i see it with my own eyes.
But I got an idea of what to expect, thanks to you

About the video/picture, it's what you wish to do, but in a way we can read all of the (small) dialog. Very please!

Oh God, thank god I was really with low expectations.
(In a way i need to thank cultr1.)
I find it very awesome, Pixel did an awesome job once again.
And it's similar with some concept art i saw back then, maybe a bit effeminate as Noxid said, but for me, it isn't enough to overshade the awesomeness.

 

His seems to have taken the place of the unused human Sue one though.. honestly think I would have liked to see that one updated just as much as seeing his.

 

I'm more curious as to how you got it in the first place :3

Hopefully if I say "texture dumping" it should be obvious enough how so I don't have to explain it. I stress again I already bought the game for my Wii.. been waiting a long time for it.

Well, two hours of playing, and I finally got to the point again... (ugh)

He does indeed talk a third time, but all he says are dots. What the heck does that mean? [/sarcasm]

Took them with a AverMedia laptop TV Tuner hooked directly to the Wii. Used 4:3 screen ratio since all widescreen really does is stretch the image funny.

...huh. Definitely surprised on the decent quality of the snapshots. I thought they'd turn out much worse...

...and now that I think about it, I think I'm gonna do it again, with the mask on. (already past the point of no return, so... yeah, maybe not today)

I actually really like that. Makes him look innocent but still badass somehow. I love his eyes, they remind me of Sue's, but they're even better. He's super adorable, lol.

That's awesome, dqle. I'm almost there on Curly Story but I'm taking a lunch break and I thought I might as well peek. I'm glad they didn't give him too much dialogue so it would seem unfitting, but I'm equally glad they gave him any at all.

Anyone get to the Sanctuary in Curly Story yet? Anything interesting?

"Innocent" as he may be, HE NEVER SMILES.

As for Sanctuary, nothing that already hasn't been done. If I'm not mistaken, there's almost nothing different with the dialog at that point. (the sign still says 'Welcome to Hell!') Only difference is that the roles are reversed, and Quote is holding the Nemesis.

I found two.
First, Ikachan is now on the chalkboard. The trigonometry is gone.

The poster thing is now an image of the Guxt fighter.
