Probably. The whole thing with the Colons is going to be a bit weird, since mothers are typically much more protective of their children, but whatever. Completely change the personalities of two main characters, Nicalis. We've wished for so long that we could play as Curly OH WAIT. THERE ARE AT LEAST 3 PLAY-AS-CURLY MODS.

It's a little unfair to compare fanmade mods to official stuff.


I mean, if Pixel made a Cave Story 2 we would be able to say, but we already have a Cave Story 2!

Hey, at least it isn't about Sonic 4.

It's gonna be interesting what Pixel/Nicalis will do with Curly now. What will change? The Colons (if they're even called that now) are the biggie, as Captain Fabulous has stated.

...and I think Curly's gaping mouth will be more of a nuisance than Mr. Traveler's unemotional line of a mouth.

There would be a huge difference between Pixel's Cave Story 2 and the mod one. With playing as Curly? Not so much.

Well yes and no. I would go so far as to say that certain play as curly mods (such as Kaeso's Curly Brace story), already have far more interesting plotlines/gameplay options than Nicalis could ever think of putting into CS Wii.

Or perhaps you just aren't giving Nicalis (or more appropriatley, Pixel) the creative credit they really deserve. Just because they could do something doesn't mean they will, and just because they don't do something doesn't mean they couldn't have.

However I wouldn't blame Nicalis. It would be Pixel's fault, but since he is the "canonizer" of this game, he has the right to do so unquestionably!

The AG version has several mistakes/inconsistancies (Earth, Bloody Holy Land, Koron, Rabil/Ravil, Litgano Motscoud) that have been bugging at me fo a while now. A simple translation error could change the meaning of a piece of dialogue. I would like to buy CSWii solely for the purpose of taking in every single piece of dialogue and throwing it at the theories subforum. :)

If I recall there was some sort of promotional thing where the Wii was bundled with the TV.
