Yeah, I think it's quite impossible to be as good as chaddykins.

What you should do chaddy is see if you can beat the world record for the hell-run in general, although that might be quite impossible.

It's not impossible, there's just very very little room for improvement.

Getting a perfect 2nd room in Hell is hard enough as it is...I've also admittedly never practiced a normal Hell run hahah...

SDA is taking freeware runs now I'm pretty sure. Iji is in the works (by the maker himself, no less) and Merry Gear Solid is in verification. Also I would try and beat your current run but I'm not that good D:

Cave Story, released in October? This month?

Though, just to play it safe, I wouldn't trust those dates 100%...
{They called Night Game "Night Sky"...}
But, considering that last update from Nicalis, it's not unlikely that it could be released this month.

 

I'd like to know what makes them say that Cave Story is coming out this month. No one else has said so, and that article doesn't say where they got their facts from. Unless NICALiS has secretly told Nintendo Life that they intend on releasing this October, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Also, presubmission was early September, now, I don't know much about the gaming industry, but that sounds promising.

Can you imagine our favorite Toaster crashing through the ceiling yelling that?

Curious, but where'd you read that from, Jackalope? I can't seem to find that from any previous link...

And just because the toaster/suitcase/lunchbox/graythingamajig says something different ruins the entire game? Had Balrog said what he was supposed from the beginning, I doubt many would have qualms with it.

And as far as I can understand, Night Game is now called Night Sky, at least by NOE; There's still no official confirmation from Nicalis yet, and it's possible to have two names for the same game. Stupid localization... (I'm looking at YOU, Contra!)

In other news, 1UP had a preview of Cave Story for WiiWare today/yesterday. Kinda surprised nobody found this one yet.

...and the music still leaves me unimpressed. I'm hoping that this is a pre-final test run, considering the music almost drowns out everything else!

We've come to know that Huzzah = Balrog. We're so attached to it that it's become mathematics.
It wouldn't ruin the entire game, we never said that, but it would ruin our favorite talking Suitcase...

...and the music still leaves me unimpressed. I'm hoping that this is a pre-final test run, considering the music almost drowns out everything else!

Yeah, I still don't really like the new music, either.
While the graphics are newer looking, the music seems to have gone in the other direction, for me.
All the notes becoming super high annoy me, too >.>;
But some parts, like in Eyes of Flame, seem kinda cooler.

And, I guess we've finally got proof for that old debate over Misery's hair. They changed the portrait to match her sprite's blue hair
...I liked green better....

Also the translations seem kind of odd to me.

I've said this several times before, over other translation-related issues, like Grasstown becoming Bushlands. I've always just shrugged and went along with it, but you can see how strongly we feel about Huzzah becoming Hurray when even I hate the change.

I saw that 1UP called all the graphics a "small visual upgrade."
Small? I thought they were pretty kickass...

Ah... I must admit I didn't see that. I only heard. It was likely in a video, probably the Balfrog one. If I'm wrong, may I be crushed by a falling Toaster.

But I don't doubt that they did that.
