Unfortunately I'm not terribly pleased with it, but it's OK. Maybe because it's too many shades of grey and it doesn't stand out much? Because the lace looks clumsy? Because I started out with the intention to do this mind blowingly good pixel art thing, but ended up ditching the lines because when it came time to do shading, I realized I can't shade for shit? I don't know.

It's based off this doll I have for the few of you who didn't already know that.

I might give it a shot later down the road, recently, I've been having a huge hankering for drawing Quote again. I'll do it once I'm done with everything else I have to do (my assignment, my promise to my fiance about this thing I have to do, reading GIR's thing, going out for my missing textbooks and blah blah blah).

I imagine it would have camo'd with CSTSF dark.

And.. yes, yes it is! That's why I love it! And guess what, its eyes glow in the dark too. When I turn out the lights, it's all I see.

You also draw the furry/anthro style I prefer (more animal than human) very well.

I have to say, I don't really get the point of anthro that's basically just "human but with cat ears and and/or tail". It just looks like a person with some accessories :/

Ennehwaie, to commemorate finishing all the episodes of dog anime I made more fanart of it. This time I played around with varying the line weights but I didn't really have a solid plan on how to do it so it's more or less random. I call that "experimentational"

Another addition to the mountain of crudely drawn anime dogs with questionable anatomy.

I should probably watch Hyouka eventually, especially if I'm drawing fanart of it.

 

SO, I doubt anyone wants to see this, but, well... I got a little carried away in photoshop. It started off as a simple happy anime picture of someone overlooking a town and a beach.... then.... I HAPPENED.
Anyway, I call it edge of chaos, a little apocalyptic tapestry. It came out okay I suppose...

Oh, btw if your monitor isn't properly calibrated for darks, you will have a hard time seeing the picture if it's even possible. Also, the quality is quite reduced unfortunately, since it was originally a 5MB PNG...

What filters.............
Well I relied heavily on layers and blending modes, and occasional effects like extrude, radial blur, polar coordinates, and some of the artistic effects [not sure which ones, I check out their look, and if it looks good make a copy of that look, and maybe try blending it or cutting it out, masking or editing it somehow.]

Needless to say, there were well over 100+ layers by the end xD And several different pictures appeared during the process, though this was the one I chose to try to put together and present.

To summarize, the picture came about completely randomly, without basically any drawing on my part, just keep trying things until it starts to take shape... And when something starts to take shape, you do your best to help it grow...

It's kind of fun doing art this way, because you never know what you'll end up with!
