• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

    I'm Shane's friend. I've also asked permission to represent him on these forums since he's struggling to access the forums. He wants to know why he's normally getting 410 errors when he tries to visit the forums.

    What url is he getting the error on?

    Tell Shane to go to command prompt and type in "tracert cavestory.org". Right-click on the icon for the command prompt window, then go to edit > select all and then edit > copy. Paste it into an email and send it to realmmaster26@hotmail.com

    Whatever the problem is, it must be my ISP that's blocking me access, since I can access these forums just fine via a proxy server.

    I'm sorry for bothering you, but for some reason Shane says he can't access the site no matter what browser he uses, and he wants to know if there is a reason why. :/ When he tries to access the site, it says it doesn't exist.

    Apparently, either andwhyisit is on a vacation of sorts, or andwhyisit is deliberately not replying, or he's trying to figure out what's going on.

    Regardless, apparently now I can access this place. Guess having a power outage yesterday and being unable to access the Internet <em class='bbc'>and</em> getting almost everything on my computer except for Google Chrome and the default Windows 7 stuff deleted by a virus helped. :/

    That was always my join date. Since an admin account had to be created before running the conversion from vb to ipb my account had been incorrectly showing the date of when I started the move from vb to ipb instead of when I actually joined. I only just yesterday got off my backside and changed my join date back to what it originally was. Turned out that you can't change join dates from the admincp, instead you need to convert the date into a GMT unix timestamp and then replace it into the database manually, of which any direct change to the database I would normally precede with a complete backup of the entire database as a matter of practice. You can see why I put it off so long.

    Maybe. I haven't tried. But having two users with the same name can only get confusing so I'd rather not attempt it. Unless of course you can convince this "Dunc" to want to change his name as well.

    Ah, there seems to be a bit of a glitch with the animation on the main page of the tribute site. Maybe it's just me, but the Sky Dragons' wings don't flap, but it's a sort of red and black patch on it's face. Again, maybe just me, but I'm just pointing it out.
