Well, I guess the names in the original game were written in romanji so GIR tells me how to pronounce it based on that, although I'm certainly not going to go around saying "Kingu". I don't know about Ballos myself, but based on my elementary and highly stereotyped understanding of japanese pronunciation I'd say maybe Ballos like Ball rather than Ballos like Ballast.
I was really disappointed when I learned Toroko wasn't pronounced "Tor-uh-co" :0
Heheh. I'd pronounce it "Knocks-id", like there was a K out front. When I was in High School I knew a guy whose last name was Knox so I always imagine it being pronounced as such. And while that's not the origin of the name, it makes for a convenient explanation of the pronunciation.

Everybody's different, and we've all got our own problems. Professional help does actually work (I went for psych counseling when I was a kid for anger issues) but it's sadly something that is shunned in our society - like you must be a crazy if you get counseling. I think part of Fire's problem is that he doesn't think he has a problem. -
