    When a serious subject comes along, people better take it seriously and not start bickering like children. They've got 5000 other threads to do that in.

    Sometimes you gotta bring out the big guns of calm, logical reasoning and a tone of mutual respect. It's drastic, but that thread was reaching ignition point so I had to <i>cool</i> things off.

    the new approach we're taking is to encourage creating new threads over bumping old ones, so duplicate threads are more lax as nobody who posts here is clever enough to come up with an original thread idea anyway. This causes less work and blood pressure issues for us without stifling forum activity.

    Hey, I want to thank you for solving the problem I had with the Yoku Blocks. It's working fine now, with one exception. This isn't something that totally needs to be fixed, but if there's a way to fix it then I'd be willing to. Whenever I access a section with the Yoku Blocks, I can't open the inventory screen. It really doesn't matter since you can just quick-switch your weapons, but if it's possible to fix just let me know.

    Hmm, I didn't realize that was an issue but I can see it happens in Pyramid too. I don't have a fix right offhand but if it does really get to be a problem I can try to see what the deal is

    A really silly question- Since I have no real demo for my J Story thread anymore, what should I do with it? Could I (or a mod, I have no idea how locking works) lock the thread and make a new one when/if we finish a demo? I'm just not sure. Sorry to bother you again.

    I was back from vacation a month ago but i haven't put anything new in my status updates, oh god i ruined the joke now didn't i

    But yeah, was at a resort near beach with some dune forests. Beautiful territory, sad i could only stay there for about 3 days.

    Hey, I heard from an anonymous source that you created some kind of double-jump booster modification. Any chance you'd consider making it public/sharing it with your best friend Doors?

    Pretty sure I didn't even document it cause it was so goddamn easy
    just make the booster .8 only refuel one fuel at a time and change how it boosts you to set your vertical speed to negative jump instead of accellerating you

    Some people have harshly criticized my English these days. My confidence is quite shaken so I feel a bit scared when I have to speak or write. Do I make grammatical/linguistic errors often? Any suggestions for improvement? You are a native speaker so I thought I'll ask you.

    Although your word choice is more formal than most native speakers, at least in written communication the form is generally better than most and I couldn't think of much to improve grammatically. If you really wanted to *look* like a native english speaker you could try to use contractions more often perhaps.

    Thank you. They have described my English as "catastrophic", "shame", etc... You can imagine that it did not feel very good. After that it was a bit hard to speak again. Fear of mistakes. Unfortunately that very fear produces mistakes. I just do not think that words like "catastrophic", "shame" are fair and deserved. That's why I need someone for a heads up. Best wishes, trickybilly
