• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

Hey there. You are one of the people who basically help run the forum and would know all the rules right?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask but I'm playing a mod that hasn't had a post in it's thread since 2016 and I'm having a problem with it.

Since the thread is so old and dead would it be a good idea to go to the mod maker's page directly or is there a better way to seek help on that?

It's fine to bump a thread your response is relevant. Plus, you can't really make a new topic just to response to a dead thread. You should be able to, but take my words with a pinch of salt, Andwhy has the final say.

You can bump an old thread if your post is relevant to the thread's original subject matter and isn't replying to some old post. So in this case it is fine.

Do life capsules not need their flag id's set to never appear again once you use them?

Because in the original script that's what seems to happen

I'd just like to add that the flag will be set when the npc is deleted, no exception. I've come to find that the "don't appear if flag id set" bit doesn't affect this (but is the most noticeable way to find this out and is what tends to cause problems)

Apparently the Japanese title means Shift-JIS, the japanese character encoding. Mojibake is corrupted text that happens when it's read in a different encoding, so I guess it might have something to do with that.
