Well when in the map, you gotta do <DNPXXXX so it doesn't appear again at that time specifically. You also add a flag ID and check the box to disappear when the flag ID is set so it never appears again when re-entering the room essentially.

Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

that's what I thought was needed but for some reason it seems like in some of the scripts from the game the life capsule thing doesnt set(add) any flags when you use it, yet it still disappears after using even if you leave and come back in the same room

If you delete or kill an npc that has the "don't appear if flag id set" bit, the flag is automatically added
