You can always get the Japanese version of the game if you're willing to pay for shipping. I have no idea why you'd pay extra for a game you can't read, though.

Silver was fun, SoulSilver is awesome because it improves on the game 
Pokemon Colosseum is one of my faves too, and Miror B made me lol.
Pokemon Red was my first however, and that gives it a special place within my soul. That and Missingno.

Honestly, Black/White were my favorites.
I really enjoyed the shift to a more urban environment, since all of the games prior to it were inspired by rural Japan. Animated sprites were also awesome and held my attention much more than the stationary sprites normally used.
Something tells me that when B/W2 come out, those will be my new favorites. I actually also liked a lot of the Pokemon that came out in the 5th gen. My least favorite gen (and games) are Diamond/Pearl.

Mystery dungeon was probably one of my all time favorite games. I really go for the story in games, and the shit that game pulled caught me completely off guard.

No but seriously, my favorite is Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, probably followed by Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal, and their remakes.
And now I'm crying because I remember playing on Crystal on a GameBoy color when I was young. ;-;

Well for me, It's a tie between Sapphire and Diamond. (Gen 3 and Gen 4) I recall playing Sapphire (and catching Rayquaza in a pokeball) and Diamond (One of the ones that I can vividly recall playing, even though I never did finish it. (Always ditched right before the 5th gym. I did see the credits once because it was originally my little bro's game, but he left it after Soul Silver and Heart Gold came out)
*EDIT* Oh yea, totally forgot about the PMD games. (That's why you actually read through all the pages of a topic before you post) Those were always a favorite of mine. Different then the original pokemon ones. I played through sky and I must of cried about 2-3 times overall. I haven't played through any other PMD ones though, but I've been wanting to play through PMD Red Rescue Team/PMD Blue Rescue Team.
