• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

There is only one Cthulhu, just... at more places simultaneously.
You see? It could be the same one each time...

... but it might not be!!!

Gee, thanks for clarification, Captain Obvious. Seriously, how do you want to answer questions for which no answers can be found? This is and always will be a pure speculation.

Maybe Cthulhu can teleport, and there's only one.

Or maybe there are two Cthulhu brothers.

Or maybe Cthulhu knows about ways to get between places that Quote does not, and there's only one.

Perhaps there's a whole family of Cthulhus, and we just see three of them.

See? It's not that difficult, is it?

Also: Maybe Cthulhu is dead and we only meet his ghost.

Or he uses illusions/holographic projections of himself to guide travellers.

Then again, maybe he's a magical being and knows multiple ways to do this.

Ooh, yes, that could explain the one in Grasstown at least.

The one in the Egg Corridor is probably real, since the room is called Cthulhu's Abode. And the one in the Plantation is probably real too – his home got wrecked when the Core was destroyed, so he's looking for a new one!

Also, hologram/illusion wouldn't be able to drag Curly into the Plantation shelter.

Cthulhu's ending: After the Island fell down, Cthulhu made a living by working as a guide in several museums, castles and the like. Today he is most famous for his series of documenatry movies.

That's why I said the Plantation one has to be real.

Heres something I wanna know:
Why did they need two sexes of robots? Couldn't they be all one sex, or asexual?
It's not like robots reproduce anyways.

I also wonder what the story behind Pooh is...

I mean do they really reproduce with eachother?
It's very possible that they could work like the ones in the matrix or girl genius, building more of eachother.
You know, then again, Curly DID have underwear for whatever reason. I think that was more of a gag easter egg than useful information.

Who says they have to reproduce themselves? There are at least two reasons for having "gendered" robots. One is that it makes it easier for people deal with them. The other is that they can... have some fun (even with humans).

They have genders because it is necessary to make them look human.

Because they felt like it? Maybe they wanted to make it really easy to tell them apart? *shrug*
