• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

It IS Pixel himself. The point here is to see who else it could have been if not him.

I heard someone used the term "breaking the fifth wall" as "acknowledging one's awareness of being a fictional character while not being one". Or, in layman's terms, "breaking the fourth wall in real life".

How should I know? What I posted was just a possible meaning of the phrase, not the definite one (which I don't know).

As I see it, there's no reason to differentiate real life from fiction when talking about the 4th wall.

There is no real fourth wall. The fictional realities around us stole it. We just go from 1 to 2 to 3 to 5.

how do you break that?
You break the 5th wall by referencing a character you've previously played, or another irrelevant series altogether; much like William Shatner often makes reference to Star Trek.
Ha!
OKFTW!

Anywho, don't forget the writing in the Nikimaru Counter chest.
Perhaps it's the hand of Destiny?

Why don't you take a rest?

The one thing I don't get is whether this person was simply telling Quote this stuff, or if Quote was conversing with him/her (and if so, whether or not Quote started the conversation). It wouldn't tell us who he/she is, but it would help answer a few questions at least.

No, because it's flawed.

If the voice is actually talking to you and not a pre-recorded message it doesn't have to answer any of your questions.

Like questions of who the voice is. Or where they came from.
