But how do I link a teleporter to the teleportation menu?

have the teleporter entity run an event where you use <SLP
that'll bring up the menu with the pretty pictures and the names that StageSelect.tsc controls



edit: not sure where the map changing itself is handled though

How do I make the Gaudis harmless like the ones in the Labyrinth Shop? I used the "Spawn with alt direction" flag and they'll still hurt me.

Those all had interaction events attached to them. If you don't want them to have dialogue you can just set them to call event 0.

I think the map changes are events 6001 and above in Arthur's house?

yep, that's it



so basically for teleporter:

use <SLP to bring up the menu

Edit StageSelect.tsc to edit the names of the maps that appear in the menu

And edit #6001 - #6005 to change where it actually brings you

and there's topic somewhere around the forums for adding extra options to the menu

Ah.
Well I don't know why it won't work.
Try going back into cave editor to see if its still set to 6.
If it isn't you either didn't save it or the background is locked.
Edit:
I tested it and it worked for me.
I used scroll type seven and moon background.

Is it possible to make some areas larger? (With larger, I mean the size of a single map, as in. Arthur's house is way smaller than Outer Wall)

You can make any area any size with any properties.
