That's the copyright.
Best not to fuck with it.
I just thought leaving it there would be a sign of laziness...

EDIT:
*Notices the ORGs when swapping*
Are you sure that's all of the Beta ORGs, Ralren?
I've got MP3 versions of several more...

Yeah, those are the most ORGS ive found.
When I swap the Custom ORG with the title screen,
the mod freezes at the loading screen. Let me try again.

EDIT: Yep. Loading screen just freezes, what the hell.

EDIT #2: YES. I FOUND THE SOLUTION.
If your mod is made with Sue's Workshop, you need to be
perfectly fine for your release or your demo, then you can
switch the orgs. Turn on Reshacker, and switch the orgs,
replacing the resources.

Now you .Exe will be "Corrupted", however, you can salvage it by
using Cave Editor. Put the .EXE into Cave Editor, and go to file, then
save and test. The Cave Editor will stop responding, and will exit.
Now play your EXE. Custom ORGS, and works perfectly!

Thanks for your help Void. :D

PISSED OFF EDIT:
God damnit, I forgot about the backgrounds. They dont move or anything.
I tried using your theory, but I already know for a fact that you cant
swap EXES editor through editor, or else the file becomes really screwed.
At least I made some progress.

hrm?
I've never had that problem.
The exe only becomes corrupted after I edit it with sues after custom orgs are in.

So, what you did was put the custom orgs in on a fresh Cave Story EXE, then edit it with sues? Doesn't work for me. All the maps tend to be missing, or Sue's would probably give you a Error everytime you exit out of the editor, or at least save the maps. It would just say something like "This game might be already running". Ill screw around with it and see what happens.

Save and Test = FAIL

Oh yeah, by the way, Cave Story will crash if you "Save and Test". Just hit the regular save and run the Cave Story EXE like normal.
And now I've swapped several songs, with no ill-effects =D

Anyways, looks like I've got to keep hunting for more Beta ORGs...
..There's several ones I absolutely need, like the other Meltdown {There were two, and they worked basically like Jenka 1 and Jenka 2}, Azarashi, and Fortress of the Sky....
..I already had full room sets and such planned just for those songs..!
X.x;
But thanks for the others, all the same. I even have backups of the originals now, in case I change my mind...

Save-and-Test crash: something that will never happen with Sue's Workshop.

Sue's Workshop
Oh ho, we don't want to start a war now, do we? >=)

Sue's script writing hurts my eyes, while Cave Editor's not only makes it easy to tell what's text, a TSC, or value, but also catches every little error, saving me tons of time that would have been wasted looking for something as tiny as a missing "<" or "0"
That and you've got the TSC library right there whenever your editing, =D

I think that more then makes up for spending an extra 5 seconds to save and double-click Cave Story...

Oohhh interesting
I've had that exact problem a lot so It's great you've found a solution.
I haven't been making much progress with my mod cause i've been so damn annoyed about the org problems. Thanks!

@Ralren: Okay do you mean that i can't make any moving backgrounds or I just can't use the wierd movement patterns like balcony style and core style. With my backgrounds that I'm making, balcony style ones are rather difficult but you probably mean just any moving backgrounds. I still can't imagine how you worked out the thing with cave editor and the custom orgs. I just imagine: Damn! My orgs screw up my exe! what am i gonna do? Ooohh! Maybe i should try running it with cave editor! Today is a day of discovery!...Thanks for finding that out anyway.

Let's see here...

CE isn't backwards-compatible with SW
Whadda mean "Backwards compatable?"
As far as I've seen, it's SW that's had all the problems with other 3rd-party programs, not CE {In fact, weren't we just talking about how SW hated swapped ORGs..?}

SW is more stable
Pfff, CE crashes only if you're still new and don't know the pot holes. I've gone weeks without a single crash, thank you very muchly.

CE has a lot of flashy bits, but they're all just quick fixes
What flashy bits..?
If you're talking about the script writer, I'd call that an essential =D

I was the one who told Ralren to use Cave Editor for the ORGs!

In fact, I posted success before he did...

{Sorry if this is a bit self-centered, but I did tell him how to do it...}

If you think I have something agianst you, I don't..
So I don't know why I said that you can't make backgrounds.

Its just that Cave Editor screws up any moving background,
it disables the balcony patterns, or the artery patterns.
I wasn't specific enough, but now everyone knows.

Haha. As for CE thing, I just tried putting the EXE in there to experiment with it, and see what it does. When I opened the EXE, all the maps were there, and scripts still existed. So I just saved and tested, and wallah!
I got the EXE working with the new ORGS. However, I got pissed at the fact that CE Disables the background movement and settings. Other than that, I don't think anything else is wrong.

Sorry that I wasn't specific enough.

Yes, It was hard to understand your way of saying it, with the switching and all, It was
hard for me to get it right. I do give you credit for your help with giving advice about the CE.
Thanks again Void.

EDIT: Oh, Void, you need Azrashi as well? I think I have only ONE copy of it somewhere
in my recycle bin, because when I had it I didnt really need any use for it until now.
Cross your fingers if I still have it, lolz.

*Crosses other people's fingers* {Boots' will probably use that comment against me..}

Zomg, Azrashi is perfect for this part in my mod....
{That and the alternative, original would probably make no sense...}

...I wish I coulden't tell you, but its not. I even searched it on my computer drive.

I could tell you where I got it, though. Its from these forums, but I dont know
which thread was it. Try to look in all the threads that have to do with orgs, because
sadly, I cannot remember.

I've got a quick, crap question. Neither CE or SW will load textures upon opening a map in either. I'm thinking that replacing my .exe might work, and I doubt that at the same time.

EDIT: Nope, doesn't work.

I've looked, but all I've found are broken and dead links, which was why I was so ecstatic when you showed me those...

Well, hopefully Lace will be able to find the ones he was talking about...
Or maybe I could ask SP to fix those links...

Whadda mean by "Loading texures"?
Is it crashing and giving that general-all error? Or is it just not using the proper graphics for the level? {EX: Ballos graphics for a Balrog entity}

And if it's the first one, you should be able to go back a page or two and see how to fix it by reading the previous post I made helping Ralren with such a problem...

WHOOT Cave Editor pride my man! High Five!

... but i have noticed that SW's is more stable generally, mostly when i accidentally hit a pot hole that i forgot about in CE. But CE has more modding content, which is what counts in my opinion.

Even joined the CE Group =D
And yeah, with CE, content over stability.
The only gripe I've got with CE is the backgrounds, but I've got an idea to get around that...
