@JonSpider - Those Yetis, and those UFOs... might be some of the most dangerous foes in the game D: I remember having around 12 HP, and then I accidently touched a yeti near a wall. ................... so sad...


BTW NEWS FLASH :
Spelunky HD (XBLA version) coming to PC. I did not know this... it should be on Steam and maybe Humble Store?? pretty soon...

What's cool about this? Well for one, I just found out there's an additional set of levels in the HD version...

I hate to bump this again but I'm going to make another attempt (with streaming). Also I'm sort of amazed at how easy it is to fail/mess up a ghostrun (but not amazed at how frustrating it is).

Oh my god... If I didn't botch this up and if Noxid would've taken this, (It's July, but no game yet) I would've claimed 2nd.

I was so ticked... I ended up landing on a bomb that I threw since I was able to get the 99 bomb from doing enough sacrifices. (I was also lucky that my Ankh didn't break.)

*EDIT* I don't know why I'm still playing this, (especially since the game of the month is going to change sometime soon) and I feel dedicated to beating X-Cal... Did another run and was about 10k short again. Not gonna put picture up, but I had a time of 15 minutes.

Wow, I finally did it. I managed to beat the game and get a better score then X-Cal. Took way to long, and not really worth it, but I did it anyway.

The only thing that ruined my run, was running out of bombs.

sunday last day, my score is probably going to be in the vicinity of 50k because i'm bad at video games

Oh and the majority of deaths are because of the ESC F1 death thing because I do dumb things in the first 2 levels and there's no way I would want to try to go through the rest of the game with around 2 health.

Honestly it feels like my best runs come from that kind of uncommon jetpack.

I royally messed up right before I got to use the ankh sacrifice and died soon after... still haven't visited the city of gold. ;-;

Playing/beating this game is really simple. If you die, just try again.

No but seriously, this game is about learning how to avoid dying. Once you've learned how to avoid most/all deaths, it becomes pretty easy, which is why I started ghostrunning.
