The game outright tells you after clearing it (on Battle Princess at least). My score wouldn't be this high otherwise, same for Meta and Doors, who also posted showing 40 rooms instead of 32.

Here's one that I'm confident GIR will kick everyone's asses at if he bothers to play. Spelunky is a roguelike actiony platformy treasure-hunting game featuring randomly generated levels, gear, gold and lots and lots of things that want to kill you. For our purposes we'll be playing the basic game - Explorer only, start from level 1, no old scores, etc. This game is hard and will make you hate the person that made it and possibly me but it's very gratifying to get a good run.

Oh we will see about that. In a few days, we'll be taking a ten-hour long trip home, and I'll have plenty of time to play this then.

Anyway, I've heard this game mentioned before, so I'm excited to play it. Not now though, back to the sand castle!
