I do not know if it was mentioned before.

About the ID card in the Items at System.

If you look closely on the front side, top left, you see what resembles the barcode that smartphones can take a picture and scan with software. The QR code. (Quick Response code)

You're right! I doubt it's legit though. I've tried recreating it in Paint and ran into a few problems, the clearest one being that the QR code's corners' middle square is much thicker, and in the picture it looks like a tiny dot (persumably one pixel instead of 2x2).

So this COULD have been an awesome ARG, could have been a cool secret with extra info -- but no. It's just for pretty.

Hey, he didn't type the text up! That means I haven't lost yet!

What Toroko lacks in size, she more than makes up for in heart and charm. She makes friends easily, so while King greet you with nothing but suspicion, Toroko welcomes you to the island with welcome arms.

I'm not insane. :critter:

But the picture included the text with it...unless of course someone can't read white words on a black background.

They look nice. I love the look of the 2D mode so far. The only complaint that I have is that the 2D sprites look a bit blurred.

Yeah, I hope/assume that that will be better with 3D sprites/not screenshots.

My apologies for double post, but this is sorta important.

NIS added a preorder option on their website. Sadly, there's no promotional what-not (not yet at least. [But, I really doubt that there will be one]), so it's not a big reason to switch your order from Amazon or anything.

That is all.

EDIT: Oh, they added art for the Fireball. (Of course in NIS speak, it's "Fireball Gun") The artwork actually looks different from what I always imagined, but actually, it looks pretty cool.

And they added a page on the items for the Health Regenerator (NIS translation: "Regenerator") and the Save Disk. (NIS translation: "Save") I must say, the art for the Regenerator looks a bit off.

And now, that really is all.

I'm surprised they retained the floppy at all. Kids in the 3DS generation aren't going to know what that is.

Art is cute, but looks as though it were drawn by a kid. misproportioned, and far from smooth edges.

Graphics are lacklustre, sadly. The 2D graphics are, from what I've seen so far, superior.

The site's music, on the other hand, is amazing. I would kill several times over to get that trance track into the game. I recall thinking the same with the CSWII website's incredible version of Moonsong. Hopefully this time they use it in-game.

They will, they're in everything, MS Office, everything. Besides, in the PC, its hard to tell anyway.

If you meant picture, it's pretty easy to tell what it is...

It might be ubiquitous with PC users for the last 20 years, but DS users can be from 8-13 years old, long after the floppy's fall from use. It is smashed into our heads the same way red barrels = explosion: floppy = save/download. Those same kids might not know of it as a real storage medium from the past.

Just splitting hairs is all. Nice picture of a floppy in any case :chin:
