Exactly how do we do that?
I don't know... I think it would be better to save it for the confrontation with Misery, then the Doctor, then the Undead Core. Or if he includes Ballos, then use the Life Pot partway through that fight. Or even both. The first Core fight may also find a use for the Life Pot, but certainly not as likely.Roonil Wazlib said:Maybe Atravir might consider the life pot. The problem is, Quote doesn't come too close to dying too often, but your idea might help him to maybe skip the scene in the waterway cabin (although I hope not).
Instant use healing items will not work that way in a movie, unlike in the game it would take a while to heal/repair/whatever, this means that you cannot use it in the middle of a fight. There are only 3 scenes where the life pot can be used and all 3 involve Curly.Celtic Minstrel said:I don't know... Now that was a funny post ROFLMAOAtravir said:Like andwhy said, in a video game a tonic or such just has to fill up a health bar, but in a movie how do you expect something like that to just magically fix that gaping hole in you spleen from Monster X's fish missile?
Okay but one of you guys will have to make it this time. lolRoonil Wazlib said:BALCAKE!!!!!!

Okay, yes, I can see your points. The healing that the Life Pot sets in motion would have to take some time. However, it is magic, so it doesn't need to take a lot of time. So it could magically fix that hole, Atravir, just not instantly. Also, it could be used between battles, for example between the Doctor and the Undead Core, or between Ballos forms 2 and 3 (I haven't gotten to form 3 – can he hurt you at that stage? If not it's a perfect time to use a Life Pot).Atravir said:Like andwhy said, in a video game a tonic or such just has to fill up a health bar, but in a movie how do you expect something like that to just magically fix that gaping hole in you spleen from Monster X's fish missile?
And here is option #492. Which three scenes are you thinking?andwhyisit said:There are only 3 scenes where the life pot can be used and all 3 involve Curly.

Not instantly. As I said, it could be between fights when he has a bit of a chance to breath, or it could be a case where they thought he was dead, but he managed to drink this potion and a little later he gets back up. It doesn't have to be instant healing, and it needn't even be in the middle of a fight.Roonil Wazlib said:LOL, nobody watching the movie will be much interested how the life pot works, but if it heals instantly, it gives the impression of Popye stuffing his face with spinch, and we're fighting Ballos here, not Bluto.
Hmm... It has a little potential in (a) and (c), and it would also make the scene with the doctor and the nurse a little more realistic by replacing the Cure-All. However, (b) is not a good place to use it.Roonil Wazlib said:Taking a guess, I think he means
(a) Waterway Cabin
(b) OMFG she lost her memory!!!!555fivefive
(c) The "ooh" part in Hell when she's unconsious
Or maybe he meant the waterway cabin as well.
Maybe the part where she's in the labyrinth at Dr. Gero's?Celtic Minstrel said:Hmm... It has a little potential in (a) and (c), and it would also make the scene with the doctor and the nurse a little more realistic by replacing the Cure-All. However, (b) is not a good place to use it.
While I'm on that topic, what is the plan for returning Curly's memory? This is the one place where Cthulhu actualy has a role in the plot. He could easily be replaced with a generic human, though. The question is: how would Quote know that the mushroom he is looking for is in a hidden room in the Mimiga Graveyard? Should he find the mushroom somewhere else?
I doubt Atravir will add the memory part. He did say he's gonna skip Ma Pignon, but I hope he changes his mind.Celtic Minstrel said:That's the scene I just mentioned. But are you saying she should regain her memory there? Or at least learn how to regain her memory and where the mushroom can be found?
Yeah, but te fight will take time.DragonBoots said:Make the Storage on the way to the Last Cave?
Like, have Ma Pignon in that hidden room in the Rest Area.
Or, what COULD be a hidden room.
I hope so too. If Quote's already been back through the teleporter from the Plantation to Arthur's House, then perhaps he could just cut from learning about the mushroom, straight into the Graveyard. Then fend off or avoid the Gravekeeper, find the storage room...Roonil Wazlib said:I doubt Atravir will add the memory part. He did say he's gonna skip Ma Pignon, but I hope he changes his mind.
It doesn't need to take that much time – it's a mushroom, for goodness's sake. A couple of shots should kill it.Roonil Wazlib said:Yeah, but te fight will take time.
