Mod about the forum

It would be impossible to include every single joke from the forums in the mod and still have some semblance of a plot.

I said we were not going to doing that so its okay. Its more the things that commonly emerge (catgirls, forum assassins, etc.), traits or actions that certain members are known by (sp's gender confusion, DB's science explainations and slivers, mai abyuus uv dii inglish languag and how often I'm around, chaddykins' awesome cave story skills, roonil's catgirl killing addiction, etc.), and their personalities. You could weave this into an any story you want and still have a plot.

 

i wonder how we would direct this because people might say that not what i would say or not like something. i think we should leave a week for people to put their ideas forth and then at the end of the week we vote for a idea and then have a cast list for certain types of characters and people can choose which one they want to be

Each person will be in charge of their character's personality, the script will probably undergo several revisions before it is considered to be finalized. But that is just for the personalities, the rest will be done by an idea submitting process that will eventually be merged together into a story.

I was thinking something like that, that after everyone one signs up and their wants/personalities/alignments have been specified (which might need another thread of its own, come to think of it...) somebody could start a thread where everyone can outline their plot ideas, and then we could vote for the favourite and use it as a base to build on. ...I suspect this may end up being quite a big project ._.

Hahahah whatever anyone wants to do with my character (if it is chosen to be in) is fine by me. It'll make it that much more interesting for me to see what comes of it.

Also, the character might as well start out as a type of anti-hero who works for his own gain, but he ultimately becomes much more dangerous for the other characters as time goes on. That'd work, right?

But I just finished the new faceset so you will have to wait a bit before I add the new ones.

Basically each image (98x98) I have to crop (77x77), resize (48x48) using the Bilinear option, add to the faceset, reorder everything, replace pure black (#000000) on all the images apart from the first with an impure black colour, check for any I missed several times, and then export as .gif format. I don't like that pure black replacing process too much so I wait for a few more face images to add first.

Okay, everyone explain their character as best they can and what role they'd like to play and we can develop the real story from there. That works.

My character would be named, of course, Kageryushin, but would be more often referred to as Kage. He would outwardly appear quite collected, if somewhat stark and cynical, but would also be brashly egotistical. Inevitably, he would reveal a much more violent nature, provoking other characters or just outright attacking them for no discernable reason and showing no remorse for his often damaging actions. Furthermore, he would also show quite the pyromaniacal streak. He could attack via magic that would materialize itself as flame-causing lightning bolts. When directly controlled by the player, he would use the Nemesis as the basis for his attacks. In a battle against him, he would use a Misery like build, teleporting throughout the arena, releasing five slow-moving black globes from high up within the air that would blast lightning bolts down upon you whenever you travel underneath them. Soon after this, Kage would begin summoning large blasts of lightning aimed at your current position by targeting you with crosshairs and sending a bolt down. He would fire eight bolts one after the other, and, at the end of the barrage, could fire them all down in rapid succession. Basically, he would use one of Misery’s attacks in league with Ballos’s first form’s greatest one.

Feel free to suggest some humorous references. I'm afraid my current draft is severely lacking them.

I was being tongue and cheek during my last post. I really do despise Furries and their filthy ilk.

Furryism is like an onion. Consider an onion - it has layers upon layers of skin that can be peeled away. Furryism is like that, but instead of layers of onion skins, furryism has layers upon layers of what is scientifically known as "horrible, disgusting shit,” and, like an onion, as you peel away more and more layers of horrible and disgusting shit you tend to start weeping uncontrollably. While it is entirely fair to say "not all furries are into (horrible sexual deviance of choice)," it is a misleading statement that doesn't tell the whole story. Consider a group of ten people. Three of them are pedophiles, three of them are zoophiles, three of them are rapists, and one of them has a thing for corpses. Now, it is entirely truthful to say "hey, not all of these people are into having sex with corpses," but that doesn't tell the whole story. It is instead more accurate to say "hey, ALL of these people are into some really horrible stuff," and so it is with furryism.

If you go to any of the more popular Furry websites, all you'll see for miles and miles on end is pictures of various cartoon characters, or "fursonas" engaged in all manner of depravity. This represents the majority of furry art. When you type 'fursuit gallery' into Google, one of the top five results is "Female fursuit sex gallery lesbians lolita teen preteen thirteen-year..." In fact, a lot of innocent queries related to furryism will bring up a plethora of furry porn/pedophiliac websites. This is why furries are the Internet’s number one laughing stock. They earned it.

I can mock Furries all I want, I can laugh at their stupid artwork, I can cackle at their poorly written poetry and stories, I can stare in awe at how much money they spend on Furcadia addons, I can make fun of them in their Livejournals if I want to and I will speak to Furries in the harshest language I can muster and there's nothing they can do about it without looking like complete hypocrites. Furries often wave their freedom of expression around as an anything-goes pass to let them do whatever the hell they want while avoiding criticism, but constantly forget that it also applies to others. They often seek to silence anyone that opposes them or mocks them, completely missing the irony of doing so.

Should I really hate Furries as much as I do? Yes. It’s their idiocy and their twisted logic that got me to hate them in the first place. I have yet to see one decent individual in the lot of ‘em, so, Lunairetic, prove me wrong. I dare you.
